Koroseta figures that she had just mined out a two pound section of iron. After placing it with the other iron ore she goes back to mining again and before she can have any idle thoughts run through her head she is already back on some more iron. This time it appears to be about an average sized vein of iron ore, for this mine at least. She extracts it out, mining it carefully and looking it over after she does so.

That chunk of iron ore she figures to be about three pounds which would put her total of material to seventy-five pounds. The number was a good one as it meant she was three-quarters of the way done. She then goes back to mining and immediately runs into a slightly smaller than average for this mine vein of iron ore. She extracts it from the surrounding rock with relative ease and then she places it with the other ore.

She estimates the last chunk of iron ore at about 2 pounds. She then resumes mining. After working through quite a bit of hard rock she sees another glint of blue. She mines it out and finds it to be yet another chunk of raw sapphire. She places it with the rest of her material which she figures brings her total to 82 pounds of material. Now all she needed was 18 more to meet the quota that she had set for herself.

Koroseta resumes mining following having found the raw sapphire. She immediately hits into a big vein of iron ore that was as big as any that she had previously found here. She mined it and extracted it out and placed it with all of her other iron ore. She figured that this was about a five pound chunk of iron ore. She places it with the other fifty-three pounds of iron ore bringing her total material weight to 87 pounds.

She looks over the ore that she has there and figures that she shouldn't be much longer before she is finished for the day. When she got back to Ironhurst she would take a much deserved break for the rest of the day and hopefully get a nice warm bath. As she continues mining she comes back into the hard rock that she hated so much because of its stubborness and its hardness. Regardless she gets through it without a ton of difficulty.

After she finishes mining through all of the hard rock she takes another break although this one is quite a bit shorter than her last break that she had taken. Before long she is back up and mining again. It is not long after she starts resuming her mining that she runs into another slightly smaller than average vein of iron ore. She extracts the ore using her pickaxe and then she puts it with her other iron ore.

As she puts the ore with the rest of the ore she looks over it all and makes sure that she has everything where she wants it. Upon confirming that it's all there she goes back to mining and runs into another large vein of iron ore. She extracts it after a while of mining and puts it with the other ore that she has. She figures that there was 5 pounds of iron there that she had just extracted.

She figures that it leaves her with a total material weight of ninety-four pounds which leaves her quite well off only needing six more pounds of material to meet her self set quota. She returns to mining and immediately hits a hard wall of rock that she has to mine through. She puts up with it though knowing that she is so close to finishing her quota. It made it a lot easier as of now to work through adversity.

Her determination to continue on wavers a little though as she runs into even more rock immediately after having cleared out the first section of rock. She sighs and continues on with the hopes of running into the rest of the material that she had wanted to get. It takes effort and time but eventually she does make it through the second section of hard rock. She's now back onto pay dirt. She stops for a second taking another short break.

Koroseta's break does not last all that long though as before long she is back up and mining again. It does not take long for her to be rewarded for her efforts as she runs into a larger than average vein of iron ore that she mines and extracts. When she is finished extracting it the ore appears to be around four pounds of ore. She sets the ore with the rest of the ore for a second and figures out the total weight again.

Looking it all over she figures that she has four pounds of natural steel, sixty-nine pounds of iron and 5 blocks of raw sapphire that she figures to be about five pounds a piece. That would bring the total weight of all of her material to ninety-eight pounds, just two shy of her self set quota. She then turns back to where she had been mining and resumes her work immediately running into some more rock.

Koroseta mines through the rock and then runs into another small vein of iron ore. After she finishes she figures it to be two pounds of ore which puts her right at her quota for the day. She then carefully takes the egg out of her backpack and sets it down gently before putting all of the ore into the backpack. She then sets the egg back in the top carefully and puts the backpack on. She finds her way out of the mine pretty easily and then she starts towards Ironhurst. (Exit)

Koroseta enters the mine and thankfully she does not have to repeat the task of helping them clear out the mine again. She heads down to where she had been previously mining hoping to resume with the luck that she had yesterday. To her disappointment though there was a dwarf already mining there so she had to go a little bit further. She finds a spot she likes and then takes out her folding pickaxe and begins mining and extracting the rock in the hopes of running into some iron, steel or gems.
