The Ironhurst Iron Mine

Koroseta mines through the rock until she gets to a decent vein of iron ore and mines out the ore.  She places it with the pound that she had already mined out and suddenly Nuanua starts squawking like crazy and runs over and starts pecking at a section of rock before backing up and looking at Koroseta.  Koroseta moves over there and mines it out and finds a sapphire.  She mines it out and sets it with the iron and Nuanua starts inspecting that as well. She is amazed at this and looks at Nuanua, Now that's just amazing. She then goes back to mining.

Koroseta continues mining and as she does so she continues running through more iron and comes into a couple more pounds of iron which she mines out and places with the five pounds already set aside to take with her. Nuanua checks that out as well and has started being a little bit more quiet. She then returns to mining through the rock where she had been mining before with the hopes of getting through to more iron ore.

As Koroseta continues mining she continues coming through iron ore as she mines out another couple of pounds of iron ore. She mines it out and places it with the other iron ore that she had set aside. As she does this Nuanua goes to the side of where Koroseta had been mining and starts squawking again. Koroseta quickly goes there and begins mining in earnest, excitedly mining it out. She is amazed as she finds some Fire Topaz which she mines out and sets with the iron and sapphire. She then returns to mining.

Koroseta continues mining and runs out of the iron rich ground that she had been mining through, coming to rock and dirt again. Nuanua is sitting with its eyes closed, resting. She continues mining through the rock which is taking quite a bit of effort. She stops for a second to take a quick break and then returns to mining as she tries to get through this rock. She hopes to get back to some iron ore or natural steel.

Koroseta continues mining and comes into what is easily one of the best veins of iron ore that she had mined so far as she gets five pounds of iron ore out of it that she places with the other iron ore that she already has. As she does this Nuanua again squawks at a section of rock and Koroseta walks over and mines it, there is more Sapphire there that she mines out and then sets with the iron and gems.

Koroseta continues mining, expecting to find some risidual ore from the large amount she had found and from the sapphire that she had found. She would be disappointed though as she would find nothing but a lot of solid rock which was hard to mine through which was exhausting and also time consuming. Regardless she works through it and then takes a short break before she goes back to mining through the rock again which she gets through.

Continuing mining Koroseta is once again surprised to come to some natural steel. She mines it out and is not surprised to find only a pound or so of it there. She puts the pound or so of natural steel with the rest of the material she had before taking a short rest which again appeared to be what Nuanua was doing as well. After her short rest she goes back to mining again, actually kind of hoping for more natural steel.

As Koroseta continues mining, her wish is granted pretty quickly as she comes back to another little bit of natural steel. She mines this out as well and places it with the other pound of natural steel bringing her total of materials with her right now to fourteen pounds of iron ore, two pounds of natural steel, two five pound blocks of raw sapphire and one five pound block of raw fire topaz. She then returns to mining again.

As Koroseta is still continuing her mining effort she runs into another good section of iron ore. She mines it out from the surrounding rock and earth and then she places it with her other fourteen pounds of iron ore to come to a total of eighteen pounds or so of iron ore. As she does this Nuanua perks up and starts squawking off to the side again before going back and resting. Koroseta goes where Nuanua had gone to and mines, mining out a sapphire that she places with the material and then goes back to mining.

As Koroseta continues her mining she comes back through some hard rock and starts mining through it with quite a bit of difficulty due to just how dense it was. As she does so she sees a blue glimmer. She mines it out and it is yet another chunk of raw sapphire that she places with her three other chunks of sapphire. She figures Nuanua only didn't detect this because of where it was resting. She then again returns to mining.

Continuing along and making progress with her mining effort she yet again comes to a section through the dense rock that is rich in iron ore and quite a bit of iron ore at that. She mines that out and places it with the rest of her iron ore. By her rough estimate she figures she has more than twenty pounds of iron ore set aside which was good to get this quickly. She then returns to mining as Nuanua seems to still be resting.

Koroseta continues mining and she is having an easy time as it seems to be more like a gravel here which is a little concerning that it might start to collapse in but it is not all that long before she gets back to rock and a small amount of iron ore which she mines out from the rock and places with her other iron ore. She then returns back to mining yet again in the hopes of stockpiling more material.
