Traveling to the Mendefera Mines

Tokara hear the mans grunt after the shocking spellis fired standing there almost shielding him self from a blast he looks the madien is un effected and tokara starts to aprouch slowly. "Well seems like the miss here isnt as weak as you thought. an sounds like to me that one shot of yours took a bit out of you." he started to pat his hand with his hammer. "now where i come from we have a tendancy to use good old fasion ass wooping to teachs little boys a lession about picking on a lady." tokara said as he was still full of health and ready to beat this guy to a pulp with his hammer.

Vera doesn't move through Tokara's comment and seems to be focusing on something.

Diego however smirks, So you think you can just kick a Havok's ass after they've expended the energy to cast one strong spell? Your appraisal of the situation is either flawed or overly optimistic son. Either way, you have two options. Turn your back and die like a coward or come at me and die like a man at the hands of your better. With that said Diego smirks and stands still, motioning with one hand for Tokara to charge him.

"ah your just all talk pretty boy. Dont know what a havok is but you seem like some one who just needs an ass whooping." he stood his ground not budging because knowing if he went to him he be opening for an attack but by now he was between him in the lady. an because of his large size tokara could hide her from the man if she planed some thing he just stood there his maul in hand ready for a fight. if the women wanted to run now would be the time.

Vera stands her ground. Don't let him goad you. He is very skilled. I will stay here to support you. This is a case where I need a sword, not a shield. She says having sensed his intentions.

Meanwhile Diego walks forward slowly, closing the distance some and getting within 15 feet of Tokara. On inspection it wouldn't appear as though he had a weapon. I'm all talk? This coming from the one who keeps on saying I need a beating but won't even make a step in my direction? Your hypocrisy seems to know no bounds.

Tokara looks down and thinks about his and get him self ready to attack. he held his hammer ready to strike and looked the man approaching him. "then i shall be a sword then." he remembered his sword in the back of his cart, it would make this a lot quicker of a fight. but his hammer had its advantages. tokara begins a slow pace to the man, raising his hammer chocking up a little on the handle. "alright fight is what you want then you got one." the gap was only 10 feet now and closing.

Diego looks at him and starts chanting something in an ancient language. He stops advancing as he does so and holds both hands in front of him. A crackling sound can be heard and black electricity sparks off from Diego.

At the same time, Tokara may have noticed when he had raised the hammer up that the full weight of the hammer seemed to be there rather than it being as light as it was supposed to be with the enchantment on it.

Vera still stood firm where she was. A concerned look was on her face.

Tokara then ducks hunching over, with the enchantment gone he gripped the hammer with both hands, he rushed in and swings hi hammer at the mans arms.  he let the hammer slide out so it gave him more reach. he was aiming to bat his arms. with his size he had an extra reach of around 3 feet past the hilt of the hammers. letting him still be at least 5 feet away from the man as his hammer swings.

As Tokara charged Diego and swung his hammer at him. The black electricity formed in front of Diego as though it was going to be a shield that would harm Tokara on contact. As Tokara continued with the follow through however, the electricity arced towards Vera and struck the stone with no effect taking place. As a result Diego's facial expression turns to one of shock and a little bit of panic as all he can do is pull his arms away before getting hit square in the chest and knocked back about 5 feet, while staying upright. He seems to have taken full damage from it but somehow seems to have avoided any internal injuries.

Tokara smiles as the electrical magic is pulled away, with his attack hitting square on with Deigos chest he rushes in for another swing following up from his last one keeping it going. He wasn't going to let Deigo get a good foot hold. this was his chance to over power the man he could not let this chance slip away. His hammer was coming back around aiming for Diegos waist this time. If he hit good enough he might make the man cripple for the rest of the fight.

Vera is still standing still, holding onto her stone.

Diego has a grim expression on his face but as Tokara attempts to swing his hammer at Diego's waist horizontally, Diego ducks low and starts a surprisingly strong leg sweep aimed at Tokara's ankle.

Seeing the start of this Vera cringes as she is worried for Tokara as she knows exactly how skilled Diego is but she does not know how skilled Tokara is as she only just met him.

Taken by the fact the man he attempted to attack ducked his weapon and goes to leg sweep him he tries to step away from the ankles sweep. even still the moment form swinging his hammer and attempting to move causes him to become off balance and drop but he throws his weight to land one the man who's attacking him. Even tokara's weight would be enough to knock the wind out of the man if he lands on him. Being more bottom heavy tokara lacked the balance he had when fully armored.

Diego, seeing Tokara's shift of weight, only slightly adjusts his sweep so that he kicks into the ground rather than Tokara's ankle. This allows him to stop his movement and brace himself with one arm and leg so that he is in a Negativa da Regional position, from which he performs a Troca de Negativa avançando that he uses to roll to the side once and then again so he is facing Tokara while still being low and now out of the way of Tokara's fall.

Tokara Watched as his attacker avoid his falling with his attacker move he tucks his bode in to a safety roll to bring himself to a neutral position about 6 feet from Diego. there he looked at the man his hand choked up on the maul for quicker swings and a heavier hit. Now he was waiting for Diego next attack having seen such moments before he knew this man was much more skilled then he originally thought. But if he could get a well placed strike the mans fighting style might be his downfall. At a knee he waits ready to attack the man back. He lets a loud huff come from his nose like a bull and a stern look on his face ready for battle.

Diego stands up and dusts himself off. He then slowly starts to back away from Tokara while keeping himself in a defensive stance. A smart fighter knows when he's at a disadvantage. Either of you by yourselves I could kill in an instant, but seeing as you two are working together I think I'll take my leave.... for now. Just remember my brutish friend, sometimes there is no clear right or wrong, or black or white. Just be careful when you carelessly step into the grey area.

Meanwhile Vera is near the cart holding the stone still.

Tokara came to his feet and gripped his Hammer in both hands. "black white this isn't some fruity painting.... THIS IS A FIGHT!" he said as he starts getting ready to charge him once again with his hammer. Holding his ground all to ready to attack the cowing man attempting to get away. But tokara wasn't going to chase him there was no point, no honest victory in killing a coward. So he stood his ground between Diego and Vera. "now run and paint your paintings and get out of ERe before i reconsider an pull out the big one." he spitting to the side. he slowly makes his way to the cart baking up as not to show his back to the man.

Diego smirks at Tokara and has one final retort for him. Don't worry son, it'll be a damned masterpiece when I'm through. With that comment Diego makes a hasty retreat.

While this back and forth occurs between Tokara and Diego, Vera turns her back to Diego and while still holding the stone in her hand she lifts Tokara's wrapped sword with both hands. Oddly enough, the sword's frost effect seems to cease it's effect in her hands. She unwraps it slowly and examines the sword.

Tokara let out a snort as he placed the hammer on to his shoulder now taking much more larger strides back to his cart turning to see the maiden unwrapping his sword. "Hey careful with that. it freezes..." he stopped talking walking up to her and noticed the blade was not frosted. Taking the from her by the hilt and held it up. "what did you do?" he said looking at her with a raised brow. with the frost effect gone he could see the blade much more closely.

Vera hadn't resisted in the slightest as Tokara took his sword back from her. I haven't done anything in specific. It's the same thing that kept us all from being electrocuted. Apparently it has the same effect on your sword. Speaking of your sword. The craftsmanship is astonishing and it appears to be quite old. Where did you happen upon it and how much do you know about it? Vera seemed pretty interested in the sword.

Tokara Stood there looking at his swords at how pristine it looked with out the frosty coating it had most days. he would humor her on how he got the sword. "Lets just say it fell from the sky and that's about as much as I know about it... other then its extremely cold and will not break." with that he put it back in the back of his cart and looked at the girl. "come lets get to town before any thing else deems us a target. I've killed two horse killers this month don't deem to want to fight another any time soon." his mind was wandering but it also ached mostly because crackers was barking in a a funny manner.

Fair enough Mr. Shire. says Vera as she walked towards the cart. If Tokara's mind wasn't wandering too much he would likely realize that he had never told her his name.

Vera look towards Crackers and shoots him a dirty look while crushing the gem that she had been holding in her hands and letting the shards drop to the ground before going back towards the cart.

As she did so, Tokara's vision would grow a bit hazy and he would feel a bit of warmth as well as a growing drowsiness.

tokara's eye raised when she mentioned his last name, was his fame spreading that quickly just after two kills of a horse killer? that made hims smile then that made him think. He had yet to state his name in town openly often. As soon as he went to turn her felt his head spin, dizzy almost. the feeling made him sleepy. "what in the.." he said falling back a little in his cart. He barely could keep his eyes open what just hit him with such force.

Vera slowly sits down in the cart next to Tokara. She too is having a hard time staying awake and she eventually falls asleep next to Tokara. Obviously whatever was happening was not her doing. Meanwhile Crackers falls asleep and Soot slowly drops to a sleep position and drowsily moves its head down a little. While whatever was happening wasn't natural it was a very cozy drowsiness that would continue getting stronger and stronger until it was to the point that it would be unresistable unless some kind of alchemical or magical counter was used.

Seeing the girl state sit next to him and pass out then soot and crackers. Tokara fought to stay awake but he passed out rather soon after the three. His mind had gone into a fog and reminded him of a warm summers day in a patch of grass. nothing would be more cozy to him right now after having a fight the sleep was a welcoming relief after how many fights he had been it his body fully relaxed as he hunched over he arms on his knee propping him up like a statue.

Vera suddenly succumbs to sleep and Soot and Crackers are already asleep as well. (Once you post that you are outright asleep we can end this topic and move on. Word count does not apply.)

tokara was outright asleep snores bellowing like a war trumpet. (he's asleep now)
