Koroseta continues extracting the rock until she comes to a small pocket of iron ore. Once she hits the iron ore she extracts it and sets it near her pack that had the egg in it. She figures it to be just about two pounds of iron ore which is not an awesome start but it is a lot better than starting off with just mining rock like she has in the past and which was pretty common at the Mendefera mine.

She resumes her mining and it doesn't take all that long before she gets to a little vein of natural steel ore. She mines it out and extracts it before setting it with the couple of pounds of iron ore near her pack. She now has the two pounds of iron ore and the one pound of natural steel. She then sees a glint of blue and mines it out finding it to be more raw sapphire.

Koroseta sets what she figures to be the five pound block of raw sapphire with her steel and iron ore. She then goes back to mining again and before much time at all she gets into some more natural steel. This was a surprise to her and she was starting to think that this might be an even better spot than her last one at the current rate that she was going at. She extracts it out from the vein.

Koroseta sets the freshly extracted natural steel ore with the other natural steel ore. She figures that she had just extracted two pounds of it and now she has roughly three pounds of it to go along with the five pound block of raw sapphire and the two pounds of iron. When she has finished doing that she goes back to mining. In something that isn't much of a surprise to her she gets into a large section of rock and she has to work through it.

Koroseta continues mining through the rock and extracting it in order to get to the material behind it. Once she has finished doing this she realizes that what was behind the rock was actually more rock that she would have to extract in order to get into some more good material. It takes a lot of effort but she feels especially fresh from having really relaxed in town the day before. Because of that she doesn't really feel the need for a break.

Koroseta finally manages to get through all of that hard rock that had been giving her trouble. Afterwards she continues mining and before too much time can pass she is onto another vein of iron ore. This vein is not all that large but it is probably about average in size. Kotoseta sets about mining it and extracting it. It isn't very difficult for her to do so and before long she has it mined out.

After extracting the iron ore she places it with her other ore next to her pack. She figures that she had just mined out another three pounds of iron ore to go along with her other two pounds of iron ore giving her five pounds of iron ore to go along with three pounds of natural steel and the five pound block of raw sapphire. She is quick to return to mining and is also quick to run into more hard rock.

Koroseta takes her time to mine through all of the rock and then she starts getting through it easily. She clears it out and quickly comes to a large vein of iron ore. She extracts and mines it out, setting it near her pack. She finds there to be about 5 pounds there which with her other 5 pounds of iron ore makes 10 pounds of iron ore. Going by her standards yesterday she would have eighteen of her one hundred pounds quota.

As Koroseta resumes mining after having had mined out the five pounds of iron ore she runs into some more hard rock. It takes her quite a while to take and extract it all out before she gets to the soft dirt. In the middle of the rock though was a section of raw sapphire that she carefully extracts. She takes the cluster of raw sapphire and places it with the other cluster that she already has set aside.

After having set the raw sapphire material aside Koroseta finishes cleaning out the hard rock and gets back to the easier material. Shortly after that she gets to another average sized vein of iron ore that she is quick to extract and place with her other iron ore bringing the total to around thirteen pounds of iron ore. She then resumes her mining in the hopes of finding either more iron ore, more gems or more natural steel.

As she continues mining she does not come across iron ore, gems or natural steel. She does come into another hard section of rock though which takes quite some time to mine through and to extract. A dwarf comes and puts up the wooden supports that are needed to hold the mine from collapsing and Koroseta takes a short break while he is doing this. She then resumes mining with the hopes of coming back to some more material.

As Koroseta continues along with her mining she continues to run into more and more hard rock and is wondering if she has gone past the ore rich section of the mine and she can not help but think that maybe she should just turn back and start mining back where she had more luck a little bit earlier. Her more rational side convinces her that she should just continue along with what it is that she is doing though, so she does.
