As Koroseta mines on she comes to more iron ore and mines out figuring it to be another 4 pounds of iron ore. After she mines it out she sees a glint of blue in some rock. As she mines around it she figures that it is a block of sapphire and she gets it out and sees it to be about a 5lb block of rough material around the sapphire. She wonders how much sapphire is salvagable as she sets it to the side.

Koroseta continues mining and not unexpectedly follows her iron and sapphire find with a section of rock. She mines through it with some difficulty and after she gets through it she stops for a moment to take a short break from mining. After a while of having rested Koroseta gets right back into mining as she figures that the quicker she mines the quicker she can get back to Mendefera and make gear with all of the ore that she has mined.

As she starts mining she gets right into a section of material that she had just finished mining through right before she took her short break. It was hard rock again. After putting forth a lot of effort Koroseta mines through this rock and clears it out. She goes right back to mining through the loose dirt this time though instead of taking a short break like she had the last time that she had come to some rock. She is in the hopes of finding more iron right off.

As Koroseta continues mining with the hopes of getting back into some of the iron that this iron mine was famous for she immediately gets shot down from her hope by another block of rock that she has to mine out or around. Of course she couldn't really mine around it so she mines it out with effort. After she is finished she starts to wonder how long this iron drought will last for her.

To her delight her mini drought ends right there as she comes into some more iron. After mining it out she figures that she has about 3 pounds of it that she had just mined out leading to a total of 21 pounds of iron ore. She goes right back to mining after putting the three pounds with the eighteen pounds as she just wants to get as much ore as possible mined out as quickly as possible.

Koroseta continues mining and runs into some iron yet again. She mines out around the vein of ore and extracts it. When she finishes she figures that there is about three pounds of ore there that she had freshly extracted. She then puts it with the twenty one pounds of iron that she already had bringing the total to twenty four pounds. She then returns to mining through the dirt and rock in search of more ore.

Koroseta continues mining and takes a short break from the mining for a second to rest her muscles. Before too long she is back and mining again. She immediately gets back into a little section of ore that she figures is only about a pound of iron. She mines it and extracts it and then sets it with the twenty four other pounds of iron. She takes another short break and then goes right back to mining for iron again.

Continuing mining through the dirt she is now onto some more hard rock that is a pain to mine through. She hacks away at it trying to clear it out. This time she is having more trouble than normal. She is tired out and is thinking that maybe she should head back to town soon. She figures she'll wait until she knows that she has enough to be able to open up a bank account before she does finish.

Koroseta figures that she would be able to open an account if she could get an additional chunk of sapphire. As she continues mining she hits yet another section of hard rock blocking her. She mines into it trying to clear it out and not accomplishing a ton as it is causing her to be worn out more. She hopes that she finds more iron or sapphire soon as she figures she is worn out from having had to clear out so much rubble earlier.

As Koroseta continues mining she comes back to a large vein of iron ore. She mines it out and extracts it and is a little surprised to end up with around five pounds of iron ore from it. She puts it with the other twenty five pounds of ore and now has a total of 30 pounds of iron two pounds of natural steel and the five pound block of raw sapphire. She resumes mining with the hopes of being done soon.

Koroseta continues mining and she comes to some more hard rock. As she continues on she is having a hard time mining through the hard rock. After a while she gets through it and sees another glint of blue. She mines it out and it is another block of raw sapphire. She puts it with her natural steel, iron and the other block of uncut sapphire. She is content now knowing that she should be able to afford a bank account in town. She then resumes mining.

As Koroseta was continuing mining through the ore she gets back to even more iron.  This time it is another large vein of iron ore.  As she finishes mining it out and extracting it she finds that it is just about another five pounds of iron ore.  She places this bunch of iron ore with the other 30 pounds of it for a total of around 35 pounds of iron ore.  It had been a very successful day of mining to this point.
