Alexi continues mining through this lighter gray rock and comes to another large vein of coal. She mines it all out and is again surprised by how much coal comes out of the vein. After she is done mining it out she has about twenty pounds of coal that she takes and puts into the pile of material for Tokara. She then takes a short break and continues mining. This coal was beginning to get ridiculous and if she kept it up there would be no room for much other than all of the coal.

After having mined through all of the coal Alexi is almost surprised when she gets back to rock again. There isn't much rock before Alexi ends up coming into a little bit of iron again. There isn't much in this vein if it could even be called a vein. When she is done mining it out there is about one pound of it which she puts into the ever-growing pile of material that she had given Tokara. She stays mining at a constant pace. She wasn't sure why she wasn't feeling as fatigued as before.

Alexi continues mining on after having run into the iron. She is expecting more of the same but what she runs into is actually more gold. She almost calls a dwarf over to mine it but decides to try herself, fully expecting to fail. She is careful as she tries to mine it and when she successfully mines out the one pound of gold she is amazed. She grins with excitement as this was a major milestone for her. Perhaps she could have the gold made into some kind of jewelry that she could enchant later on. She continues mining.

Alexi continues mining, she has a little bit of gold fever now as she is excited to get more gold or maybe even some silver. Her excitement starts to waiver though as she is still mining through rock. This is the basic standard rock and it is boring to mine through as there was no real technique required and no immediate reward for having mined it out. Of course the reward of it was being able to mine out what was behind the rock and get to coal, iron, silver, gold or even gems.

As Alexi continues mining the rock and hoping there is something good behind it she runs into what is behind the rock. More rock. She continues mining the rock and is hoping to see a glint of a gem or the hues of a metal ore or even some coal that Tokara might be able to use. She wanted to prove her worth to the new group and try to get accepted into it. At this rate though Tokara would end up with a saddlebag stuffed with coal and not much else for materials.

Alexi continues mining through the rock that she had uncovered from out behind of more rock hoping to find something other than rock that was being covered by the rock that she had uncovered by mining out rock. Luckily, instead of continuing the chain of rock behind rock she found iron ore which she mined out. There was only a pounds worth there but she was excited nonetheless. She put the additional iron or in the Tokara give pile and continued mining.

As Alexi was mining after having gotten some iron she was pleased to see that she had come into possibly the biggest vein of iron that she had found yet. She was hoping to start an iron behind iron behind iron chain now but knew it was unlikely to happen. Alexi mined out the vein of iron and came out with 3 pounds of it which she put in the Tokara keep pile. It was a good thing he had a horse because she was on a roll. Again Alexi takes a short break but it isn't long before she is back to mining out the rock.

Alexi continues through the rock as she is hoping to find iron hidden behind the iron that she had exposed by mining out the iron. She isn't disappointed when it doesn't happen though as she comes to a small vein of Silver. She is very careful as she mines it and she is hoping that she will be successful as she had never successfully mined silver before. She is amazed and excited as she successfully does mine it out. She puts it in her keep pile and takes about a pound of iron and puts it over in the give to Tokara pile. She then gets right back to mining as she is hoping to find a gem soon.

Alexi continues mining and behind the silver instead of finding more silver she finds another small chunk of iron. She mines out the small chunk of iron and puts the 1 pound of iron in the give to Tokara pile which was getting to be an impressive size. She went right back to mining again. Her work pace would be deceiving as she was not normally this energetic. She did have bouts of energy though and apparently she was in one right now as she was still swinging away.

As Alexi continues mining she is back into no-man's land. Back into the rock again with no valuable anything being produced. She doesn't lose patience or focus though as she wants more gems dang it. She was still quite a distance from where she needed to be monetarily. The current rate for all of her material and even the material she had give Tokara came to 7,125 gold. That was still a good amount below where she needed to be, and only 6,300 of that total was material she was keeping.

As Alexi mines she comes into some more gold and since she successfully mined it out before she decides to try again and do it a little faster. Not surprisingly she is successful and she manages to mine out a pound of gold. She puts the gold into her keep pile and then takes one pound of iron out of her keep pile. She then puts the one pound of iron into the give to Tokara pile. She then goes right back to mining again as she is beginning to feel that re-ordering the piles is actually a decent enough break for her now.

Alexi continues mining and just like the last time she had gotten gold what is behind the gold is just rock. She continues mining through the rock and is making a really good pace. As she stays mining she is making great progress and the dwarves are actually really accepting her as a miner now that she has been able to successfully mine gold and silver. From the looks of it they don't mind her keeping it all as long as she lets them get the gems that she can't mine.
