Mendefera City Mines

Andras continues mining still and he continues getting into rocks that are hard to break and hard to mine his way through. He does through brute force and will though. He continues mining kind of convinced that it wouldn't be long before he got into more iron if things continue on the way that they had been to this point so far in the relatively new location that he had been directed to by the dwarf earlier.

As Andras is mining his hunch actually proves correct as he gets into another moderate pocket of iron ore that he mines out and figures is about two pounds in total which he puts with the previously mined eleven pounds of iron to total thirteen pounds of iron ore. He then goes directly back to mining once again, getting happier as his mining has started to be a bit more fruitful now than it had been earlier.

As Andras mines he comes to some gold again at which point he calls over a dwarf again and has them mine it. The dwarf comes over and does so and then leaves again. Andras continues mining and can't help but note that his thirst is getting stronger now. Before long he'll have to stop and head back to Mendefera to go and get a drink at the pub. In fact he might rent a room if they had one. What better place to live if you're a drinker?

Andras is still mining and he is hacking away at the rock and revealing more hard rock. The bad thing is that it's rock and the good thing is that it is solid material and not dirt or silt or sand or anything of the like. He then goes and he continues mining, thinking that if the pattern continued it would not be very long before he was again at some kind of material of value.

As Andras continues mining he again sees a clear whitish gem in the ore and he calls over a dwarf to mine it out. The dwarf gleefully extracts the diamond from the rock that Andras was mining in and then he leaves. Andras takes a break for a second to count all of the materials that he had set aside to make sure that he is certain that they are all there where they should be and that no dwarf had stolen any of his materials in greed.

A dwarf walks up to Andras. "Ye've gained our trust. If ya follow me I'll show you a better section of the mine that we've decided that you can mine in now. Ai promise ye that yull have better luck there."

He then goes to lead Andras there if Andras wants.

Andras greets the dwarf and then listens to what he has to say about heading further into the mine where the mining is better that where Andras is mining right now. Andras accepts and follows the dwarf to the new mining area. When they do get there he asks. So, is this a one time thing or will I be able to continue mining here if I leave. I ask this because I am not sure that I am going to be here much longer today. I need to head into town soon.

"aye mate, it's a full time permission. I wish you luck" He then leaves Andras there to mine in the new area.
