Alexi mines through a couple of pounds of iron ore and sets it in her keep pile. After finishing mining through that she sees another blue glint. She again carefully mines around it and extracts it successfully for a second Sapphire. She grins as she goes back to mining. This was starting to finally pay off as she had 4.05k worth of material now. That may not sound like much but it was enough to live off from for a while. Unless you tried to live like an extremely rich person.

Alexi continues mining through the rock hoping to find something in it that has some kind of value. Unfortunately for her, when she does it is silver which she tries to mine but fails to due to her lack of experience. She continues mining though as she is hoping to find more gems soon as she wants to get as much money as she can from doing this. She doesn't mind coal or iron either as she can mine it and either sell it or donate it for favor. Originally she had avoided the coal because of all of the work that it took but now she had changed her mind as it was good to use to build favor with.

Alexi continues mining and mines through a lot of rock before finding anything of note. When she does find something it is not much. All it is is one pound of iron. One pound of iron is better than nothing though. So Alexi mines it out and keeps it in the keep pile for now. She continues mining hoping to find more material that she can mine. She is starting to wear out a bit again. It seems as though it is about time to take another break but she figures she will wait a little bit longer as she could keep going for now.

As Alexi continues mining through rock after rock after rock she is getting tired. She sees a green glint of an emerald and decides this is the time for her break. She again takes a rest and flags down a dwarf who had taken 'donations' before. She tells him about the emerald and he thanks her heartily before mining the Emerald out of the surrounding rock masterfully. He then leaves and she goes back to mining. She is happy that she hadn't tried to mine that gem as she probably would have failed and smashed that one like she had the onyx.

Alexi continues mining along and thanks to the break she had just had she was back to mining full speed again. What she was showing right now was not strength but endurance. She is mining through more and more rock. She is excited to find more gems whether she can mine them or not as the dwarf seemed extremely happy to be able to gather it. Of course if it was something that she could mine herself she would be even happier as it would be another 2k worth of material.

Alexi mines through more rock and is hoping to come into something other than all of this rock that she was becoming accustomed to. That's when she sees another shimmer of blue. She mines out around the sapphire and puts it in the keep pile. Behind the Sapphire was some more iron. She mines it out and sets it in the keep pile as well. She now has 19 pounds of good material in her keep pile. She can only carry 25 so it won't be long before she'll either have to stop or 'donate' some more of it to the dwarves. She goes back to mining with her efforts being bolstered by the sapphires that she has been mining.

Alexi keeps on mining and is now running back into the plethora of rock again. It wasn't surprising and by now it wasn't really discouraging any more. The gem mining had proved relatively profitable for her. It was a shame she couldn't mine more kinds of gems than she could right now. She continued mining through the rock and there wasn't really much for excitement in the mining at this point in time. However that could change at any time depending on what the next kind of material she found was.

Alexi starts getting tired again so she takes another short break from mining. She sits down and sighs. She was surprised that she hadn't seen anyone other than the dwarves down in the mines. She supposed that most city folk felt that mining was too much effort to be bothered with. She would have been of that ilk as well if she hadn't had to do it once in the past for money. Since then she was reluctant to mine but she found that the more time that one put into mining the more that they would get from doing it.

After the short break Alexi went back to mining again. She sighed loudly and let out an exasperated moan. This is soooo boring. As she continues mining she starts thinking of ways to try and amuse herself as she continues on however her imagination is running out of ways to amuse herself. She continues just getting rock after rock after rock with her swings. I shoulda brought some munchies! I'm having a serious snack emergency here. She says as her stomach growls. She was talking to herself but it was helping her cope with the boredom.

Alexi is not surprised by mining into even more rock with no good material in it. After the good fortune she had just had previous to this stretch of rock it was expected for everything to even out after all of this. That doesn't mean that she is taking it without complaining though. Why's there gotta be so many rocks? I mean come on! She hangs her head but keeps on mining. It would probably seem comical about someone mining and complaining about there being rocks.

As Alexi continues mining she is mining through more and more rocks and it is starting to officially irritate her. This was beginning to be a ridiculously long stretch of rock and rock and guess what else? Rock? Yep, rock. She fights through the urge to stop and tells herself that she'll only take a break when she finds something worth keeping or having someone else mine out. This was getting to be too much of a hassle for her liking and she wasn't going to keep mining for much longer if there was only rock for much longer.
