Preliminary Round Match 1: Mina May vs. Norbert Ventural

An older man with gray hair, wearing black pants, a white shirt and a red bowtie is standing in the middle of the tile floor of the arena awaiting Mina and Norbert.

A brown male centaur with short brown hair trots into the arena. He is wearing some kind of cloth armor and appears unarmed with the exception of those hooves of his. He seems to be blocking out the crowd, ignoring them and the referee as he stares off into a random section of the arena. He is pretty thin and doesn't look very muscular. He's definately not at all the image of what you would expect a centaur to be.

The member 'NPC Event' has done the following action : Dices roll

Mina walked into the arena while holding her puppet and her little rabbit pet resting on her head. She was speaking to her puppet "Seriously Usagi why did you talk me into this! I am not much of a fighter. Then her puppet responded with "Relax you will be fine! You got to learn to live a little. Mina then looked up at her opponent and made her puppet wave at her opponent. Chi's ears twitched as to say hello to Mina's opponent.

The referee motions for both Mina and Norbert to stand where they are supposed to and once they are both there he speaks. The only real rules here are to stop fighting if your opponent is unconscious or gives up. If you say that you give up, you immediately lose. Also, please note that the sphere around the fighting area is magic and will repel you if you come into contact with it so try not to. Now make sure to stay still as the arena will now morph and the only places that are guaranteed safe are the starting points and a spot for me.

After saying this the referee moves straight back, the tiles turn to earth and then sprout grass before trees and bushes start to pop up. When it is done there is a clean forest around them, there is plenty of room around th trees and bushes to battle, however it starts to get dark until it is as black as night. Then stars and a full moon appear over the battlefield, illuminating some of the forst where the trees aren't as close together. After the area finishes changing the referee motions and yells Begin Fight!

Norbert first grins as the battlefield turns to forest but he frowns when it darkens up. When the Referee yells to start he immediately raises one hand above his head. He closes his eyes briefly as he cast a magic spell that illuminates his hand. While this lets him see Mina better, it also gives away his position. Knowing this he begins galloping towards Mina, still 10 yards away though due to the time it took him to cast the spell.

Mina saw the environment change to a forest and the day change to night. This caused her puppet to sorta freak out and said "WOAH MINA HOW DID THEY DO THAT?! I MEAN THE ARENA BECAME A FOREST AND ITS NIGHT TIME NOW!" Mina responded to her puppet with "I am not sure it could be a spell though but I don't know. Now I am going to have to put you away I mean this is a battle." Mina then put her puppet in her pocket and then noticed a light. The light was coming from her opponent who was charging toward her. Even though her opponent was a few yards away Mina felt sorta panicked and looked around for near by water she didn't look like before saying "Ice Eagle!" Then water in the air came together to make and eagle out of ice which then went soaring towards her opponent.

(if I am reading my own spell and since she is using the water in the air it is... I am hoping I did this right lol -10 Stamina, -15 Mana)

Norbert skids to a halt as the eagle comes towards him. He extinguishes his light spell as if it was going to deter the magical eagle made out of ice from finding him. He tries to be quiet as not to give away his position. Considering that he was standing exactly where he had been when he extinguished his spell though, it was likely to be a totally ineffective attempt at avoiding being hurt by the ice spell.

Mina saw the light go out but she could still see the eagle which stopped for a minute before decided to keep going forward towards where it's target originally was hoping to hit its mark. Mina decided to use the darkness to her advantage and slowly creeped away and hid behind a tree. Mina was then thinking I wonder what abilities he can use.. He doesn't have a weapon so is he more magic based? Mina then tried to watch her opponent.

(So is it trying to fly until it touches Norbert and then attack or is it just going to attack or what? I'm confused)

Norbert and the bird don't connect as Norbert trots to the right a little blindly. He thinks he is in the clear but as he wasn't paying attention to where he was going and was also unable to see he bumps into a tree. He groans a little in pain as he does so which could be a tell for Mina if she was listening for something, as to where he was exactly, that is if he hadn't given away his position with his light trot.
