The Mendefera Storage Dungeon

The grinning man's facial expression remains the same, however the instant Tokara moves forward he unsheathes a sword with a jeweled hilt.  He stabs it into the ground as Tokara slashes and a wall of ice forms in front of the sword, protecting the mage and the man.  The fire spell is still charging though and is already melting some of the ice.   The man that was grinning stops doing so and starts to glare at the mage.

A series of cringes come from Sidney as the attack of Remy's seems to boost the attack's strength, then Imusa puts up a shield and warns Tokara to get back to the cart under the effect of the shield, then of course Tokara charges anyways, with a fierce attack, only to have it seemingly completely negated. Well, that's Tokara for you... says Sidney in a blunt tone as Tokara had always been one to charge headlong into a fight.

Remy watches in dismay as the blast from his card just charged the attack up more. He hangs his head for a moment and while he does so he hears Imusa's warning to Tokara and looks up just in time to see Tokara charge and attack and then get blocked somehow. The level of skills in use here were scary and way beyond anything that he could do more than once. This whole fight was over his head and made him feel rather insignificant.

As the girl gets close to Rusty he looks down to her. Do not worry little one, I'll finish this chicanery now. If the mage built this attack up much more there would be a lot more at stake than a few humans lives, there was going to be a roaring forest fire from the blast of fire once released. Rusty wasn't much of one to be able to mentally speak to people but he was fairly certain that Imusa, being as skilled as he was, would pick up on what Rusty was trying to say mentally to him. Imusa, I've got this. He then stomps his foot onto the ground and quickly sinks into the ground, disappearing.

Watching as Tokara blatantly disobeyed him and attacked anyway made Imusa rather irritated, but watched and all as his attack was stopped by an ice wall that came out of nowhere. While Tokara's ambitions were admirable he was clearly not thinking in his right state of mind. It also had seen at the grinning man was much more powerful to have stopped a spell like that one. Imusa heard Rusty mine link with him for a quick moment as he noticed he disappeared into the ground. Rusty was about to step in something that most to keep peacekeepers were not allowed to do but something did seem off and Imusa was not going to stop him. All he could say back to Rusty was. ~make sure they regret engaging a battle near a peacekeeper~

Tokara stood there and awe his swords power was like nothing as this ice wall blocked it with no problem if anything he added to the ice. He was slowly coming to realization that the sword was not all that it was cracked up to be, he was going to need to fashion some new swords this one consumed way too much of his energy and felt little awkward in the hands. He slowly starts to back up knowing that he could not do a thing right now. Not to mention Remy's cards had added to the spell behind the wall which for all he knew was still growing. These opponents were much more stronger than Tokara was originally estimating, he very much underestimated how strong they were.

Turn it the other way or dissipate it you fool! Barks the man that had previously been grinning.

I can't Vino! If I do it will just blow up in my face!

The man that was just identified as Vino looks extremely irked. However he stays where he is, waiting for the ice wall to melt more as it was already starting to melt from the heat of the massive fireball that the mage was still uncontrollably charging.

Sidney is shocked as he watches and hears this. If only he was healthy, he would possibly be able to charge the ice wall, extend his Plasite Cutter and attack the men through the wall. As things were though, all he could do was just sit there and hope for the best. It wasn't until now that he realized that Rusty had disappeared which kind of alerted him until he remembered who Rusty was, or what he was.

Remy's reaction is pretty similar to Sidney's with the exception that he isn't all that sure that he would be able to help regardless of the situation.  That is unless he could figure a way to refine his abilities to be able to charge the wall from a distance, or to directionalize the blast away from himself so that he wouldn't harm the entire group.  As things currently were though he was practically helpless to do anything to positively impact the situation that they all found themselves in.

There is a rumble as Rusty suddenly bursts out from the ground behind the fire mage.  As he does so a dome of earth forms around the three of them, closing them in.  Rusty then chops the fire mage in the back on the neck in the hopes of knocking him out or at least making him lose control of the fireball so that it doesn't get charged up to even more monstrous levels.  It was ridiculous already as it was.

Imusa kepted his ward up and was ready for some thing to happen he was not one to attack and rusty had said he would end this. Imusa noticed the bight light from behind the ice wall had disappeared with a rumbled of ground. Rusty was doing some thing but no one on this side could really see what was happening. imusa was keeping his mind more on the ward then any thing else at the present moment.

Tokara growled at the ice wall wanting to face the fire mage he hated the fact his sword unleashed so much power but could be so easly deflected. this boiled his blood the large man with a small 5 o clock shadow starting walks up to the wall and slam he fist in to it. "Hey GET out here and fight like a man!" this kind of rage might make the girl who they just rescued from these two think he was crazy to want to fight them head on. tokaras mind was not on what was happening with the others.

(I second that, it would just be a repeat of what I had said the last time that I had posted.)

Vino looks shocked as Rusty bursts out of the ground. The fire mage is caught off guard and is knocked unconscious. Suddenly there is a blaze of light as the fire ball loses its stability and it starts to build up an intense heat that is searing, the fireball goes from a reddish orange to a whitish blue before exploding in a burst of blue light. This savage attack reduces the fire mage to ash though as it begins to subside, Vino looks hurt, but not near death.

As the blast starts, Rusty braces himself. He is surprised at the intense heat and the ice barrier outside of the rock dome actually melts considerably. After it subsides and the mage is reduced to ash the earthen dome begins to crumble in on top of Vino and Rusty. Rusty himself has taken minor wounds and is pretty well charred though he doesn't seem anywhere near severely injured. As the rock crumbles down rusty doesn't bother shielding himself as the rock hits and seemingly bounces off from him.

Imusa would drop his ward as he then saw the dome of earth start to crumble, and the ice wall had melted enough for him to see and he takes action. he quickly jumps acrossed the ground his white hair and robes making him look almost like a blur as he lands at a stop not far from rusty. "are you okay rusty? that spell was powerful." he had concern for the fellow peacekeeper but kept and eye trained on to vino, the man who in a way had started this all. imusa was ready to act if attacked.

Tokara was close enough to the spell to feel the heat even behind the ice and under the stone the whole area near it seemed to have heated up like none other in just a flash. he felt as if he had a sun burt near the ice. "what kind of spell was that." he mutter then the ice melted away and he saw the dome crubling and the grinning man looked hurt and so did rusty. tokara was about to attack when Imusa jumped past him near rusty, at first glance looked fine but imusa might know more then him. he stays back but ready to charge when he can.

Sidney just watched as everything unfolded. At this point he was too jaded to be overly surprise by anything, except..... Hey, where's the third guy? He hadn't seen him run or anything. He starts to look around a little, trying to make sure that there wouldn't be some kind of an ambush from the fire mage. If the fire mage had as much control as it had looked like he had, maybe he had somehow used fire magic to conceal an escape or re-positioning.

Remy watched everything unfold as well. He takes note of Tokara's reaction and then he sees Imusa jump into action. As he hears Sidney's question he realizes that he is right. Where was the guy? Regardless, he wasn't as worried about that guy as Sidney seemed to be. He had been surprised by Imusa's speed seeing as Imusa had appeared to be kind of frail at first glance. Then again he was who he was...

Vino smirks as he looks at Rusty. Nice play caveman. He then smirks and holds his hand out in front of himself, with his palm facing his body close to his chest. He hangs his head a little and closes his eyes. Well, it seems as things are rather unadvantageous for me here. As soon as he finishes saying this, he vanishes into thin air without leaving any trace behind himself afterwards.

Meanwhile the girl had just made it to the cart.

Rusty coughs a little. Yeah, Imusa, it just caught me by surprise. I wasn't expecting it to flare to a bluish white fire before the explosion. I think the mage was reduced to ash by it... As he finishes saying this he hears Vino call him a Caveman and then saying he was at a disadvantage before teleporting away. Well, at least we've delayed whatever it was that he was trying to accomplish with the attempt of the heist there. Could have been that he just wanted the cart.

imusa watched vino just disappear. "the man teloported, and blueish white fire.... that's near impossible for a single mage to do alone." the he remembered remy had thrown a card in to the fire and the fire had grew from that. "well are you okay enough to finish the trip? White fire would catch even me off guard as well. we might want to keep an eye out for that man he might be trouble." imusa looked at the girl by the cart. he would have to get the information from her later. who ever this man was was crafty they might need any information they could get. not many knew how to teloport.

tokara stood there just to watch the man dis appear he spits on the fround and heads back to the cart and looks at the girl near the cart. "you okay?" he asked her as he placed his sword in the back of the cart as it froze to the wooden flooring. "hey remy Sidney you two are kind of the roguish type... you know who what man was?" he said as he claims in to the drivers seat of the cart. he figured sidney might know some thing.

Sidney wracked his brain from a moment trying to think if he had seen someone like that before. Nope, I think I'd remember someone like that if I had seen them. He then looks to Remy, he didn't know Remy's real background but he too wondered if Remy may have known who that man was, if Tokara suspected that he might know him, Tokara must have a reason to. One thing was certain, this whole event today was going to push him to train like he never had before, once he was able to.
