The Mendefera Storage Dungeon

(The stairs come down where the squiggle is.)

As you enter the dungeon there is immediately a split in the path.  One going straight and another to the Left.  You can see a light coming from around a corner on the path to the Left.

Remy takes a card out from one of his decks and he holds it up, lighting it up and showing some of the path around them. He looks both ways and decides to head the way that is lit better without having even checked what Tokara and Sidney wanted to do. The whole way he travels he is constantly keeping an eye out for anything out of place. The reason he is heading towards the light is that he is hoping that it is a portable light source as what he is doing right now will wear him down.

Now you are at a corner and looking around it straight ahead there is a wall and to the left you can see the light coming from somewhere like there is another hall or a room there.

tokara followed behind remy with his maul ready, gripped with both hands. looking around he also noticed the light. but he didn't force remy to go to fast as he did need to look for traps goblins are crafty in tunnels. "hey sidney, you get an odd vibe down here?" he felt like the place was abandoned for a reason. but he wouldn't know what just yet or how large of a place this realy was. what struck him as odd was the fact goblins where not here but he could smell them.

You can now see an opening to a room and a hallway leading back to the other path that you could have taken. The room looks pretty empty but you can see that there is at least one crystal torch in it which would come in handy.

Sidney nods while looking to Tokara. Yeah. Goblins don't usually go into a place like this until it's already been cleared out. The whole time he has been drawing a map of where they've been so that they can backtrack easily. He steps into the room (To save time) and looks around. He is hoping not to see any goblins in this room as it would make a good safe room if they needed one for some reason later on into the exploration.

As Sidney peeks into the room nothing goes off and there appear to be no monsters to take note of. All seems clear though it would need a good looking over to make sure of it's safety.

Remy cringes as Sidney peeks into the room as he expects a trap to go off or something. Luckily nothing does. Remy then steps into the room and does a quick inspection looking for loose stones, ropes, wires, areas with a lack of or excess of dust or other things of the like. He makes sure that his examination of the room is thorough as he doesn't want to be the reason that any of them get maimed by traps.

The search comes up as safe. There appear to be no traps, chests or monsters in the room. In fact, aside from two light crystal torches hanging on the walls loosely the room is oddly bare with no furniture, items or anything there to take note of.

tokara was the next to go in to the room. "light torches? here, well seems who ever made this place paid no exspence on lighting." tokara went and grabbed one for him self and held it up. "this should help allot, now i wonder if there is a map for this place any where." tokara went back to the door waiting for remy to retake the lead. "so how we gonna split the loot if we find any." tokara looked to remy wondering if this wasn't a trap as the first room only had the light torches. the lite up the whole room with ease and same with the hallways for a ways. he waited for sidney as well.

All stays the same as you are still in the room. The light was not booby trapped.

(I'm assuming that everyone is moving with me when I say this on here because of what we had talked about before.)

Seeing as Remy had his own light source if he absolutely needed it Sidney was going to take the other light torch.  He wouldn't be able to keep on top of his map making though if he had to hold a torch.  He goes and grabs it and then hands it to Remy for now.   When Tokara had asked about how they were going to split loot Sidney stayed quiet and just waited for Remy's response.

At the same time he started to continue back out of the room and then straight down the path that they hadn't taken yet before turning at the corner and down the path that led away from the staircase.  The only reason he would stop would be if there was a corner or something ahead. The whole time Sidney is continuing to draw the map.

As they continued along they found themselves in a long hallway. They came near the end of it before long and found themselves near a turn to the left which was their only choice of direction unless they wanted to head back.

Remy discharges his card and then takes the light torch that Sidney hands to him. As they head through the hallway Remy responds to Tokara's question. Maybe we can just cycle through the chests. The first one we find would be mine, then the second would be yours Tokara and the third would be Sidney's and then we'd start the cycle over again with me? This sounded good to Remy as he was the one that found the dungeon and Sidney wasn't added onto the group until Tokara had suggested it.

As they continue around the corner they find themselves in a long corridor. They can see to the end of it thanks to the light torches. It appears to have both a path to the left and to the right ahead.

tokara saw the hall way begin to split. he then went in to a run as he got to the split. "what way to go guys?" he held his torch out above his head, his maul ready in his free hand. he looked both ways trying to best judge what way to go. he looked back at Sidney and remy. "so what way do you two think?" he wanted his team to help decide what way to go.

As you come to the split in the hallway the path to the north leads to a corner that heads east. The path to the south leads to a dead end.

Sidney looks both ways. Let's check the dead end and then see what happens. suggests Sidney as they go towards the dead end. He continues drawing the map as they get towards the dead end. As they approach it they start looking to see if anything is out of place there. Probably looking for loose stones or ropes or something. The light torches are great for this as the light really illuminates all of the little cracks and crevices.

As they search they might notice a stone sticking out on the right wall facing towards the dead end.

Remy sees this loose stone and then looks to Sidney and Tokara. Careful. I'm going to try to do something, who knows what will happen. He then walks up to the stone. He looks it over for a second before he starts trying to do anything. He then first tries to pull it but it doesn't seem to budge. Afterwards he tries to push the stone in. He is cringing a little as he is worried that he is going to set off a trap or something.

As Remy pushes in on the stone the wall starts to rumble and then it slowly slides to the right revealing a room. Inside of the room there doesn't appear to be much of anything except for a Wooden Door on the center of the right/west wall. The door's hinges look rusted shut.

tokara walked in to the room, holding his torch high. "looks like another empty room. sidney remy, i get a bad feeling on what went on in this place. for one the entrance is hidden and underground." he held the torch up and walked over to the rusted door. holding his hammer tight in his hands he wanted to smash off the hinges. "i get the feeling this is a old war bunker, or maybe a torture place." his mind was filling full of things wondering what could have gone on down here.

As they enter the room they don't see anything all that special in the room. No items of note, nothing out of the ordinary.

Sidney walks around in the room and looks around. This room was boring. He then hears what Tokara says about possibly being a war bunker or a torture location. Actually, that sounds about right. I wouldn't be surprised if this place was either of those. I just hope there's more to this area than hallways and empty rooms. He then walks up to the door that Tokara wants to smash and he tries to open it even though it looks rusted shut at the hinges.

The door doesn't budge as Sidney tries to open it. It probably won't no matter how long he tries.
