The Mendefera Storage Dungeon

Remy looks on as Sidney tries to open the door. He figures that he could probably blast the door off from its hinges but he steps back. I think this would be a good time for Mr. Hack N' Slash to have at it. says Remy referring to Tokara as he figures it would take less effort for Tokara to smash the door off from its hinges than it would for Remy to smash it in and just break it right off.

tokara let out a little chuckle at Sidney's attempt at opening the door. "move aside..." he pushed Sidney out of the way with his torch he handed it to him. raising his hammer up he swings it down with allot of force at the hinges, hoping to break both off in one go. he didn't know if it would work never knowing what the door might do. he had heard story's of doors being portals to another place in places like this.

The door comes right off from its hinges as Tokara bashes it.  There is a hallway leading to the right from the doorway.

Sidney isn't too amused about having been pushed out of the way and after Tokara knocks the door off from its hinges Sidney hands the torch back to Tokara. He then steps through the doorway and starts down the hallway carefully as he continues along and intends to travel as far as he can until there is a corner in the Hallway or until there is another room to check out. He hopes he doesn't run into any traps or anything. He is still drawing the map.

As you walk down the hallway you come to a left turn.

Remy walks down the hallway and around the corner. The whole time he is on the lookout for traps or doors or anything of the like. He intends on travelling as far as he can and stopping when there is a corner or a doorway or something. Having thought about what Tokara had brought up earlier about an old war bunker or torture area sent a little bit of a chill through his spine. He didn't like thinking about it.

As they travel around the corner and down a short little hallway the come to a corner and a doorway. To the right of them is a wooden door that looks much like the last one with its hinges rusted shut. To the left is a long hallway that they can barely see the end of. It'll be up to Tokara to choose which way to go. The only thing is, you can hear a quibble from behind the door. The tone of the voices are a little annoying and there is an unmistakable smell coming from that direction.

tokara when coming to the corner saw the rusted door. puttng his ear to it he heard squabbles. getting back a little he gets ready to swing his hammer at the door again. "get ready you two i get the feeling of a fights coming up." with theses words he took a few ready set go swings getting ready to smash the door open. "Knock knock." he said as he then swung his hammer at the hinges of the door hopping to break it down.

Tokara successfully busts the door open.  Inside there are a few goblins scrambling to figure out what to do as they are all frightened by the sudden bashing open of the door.  Ahh!  It humans!  The room that they are in is a small little room.

Sidney steps back from the door as Tokara smashes the door open. He can see a couple of goblins and steps right out of the way just waiting for Tokara to rush in and go all Hulk smash. He figures that if he goes in first he will just get friendly fired by Tokara. He could probably make quick work of the goblins himself but he wanted to conserve some energy for later when they might need it further in.

The goblins start to regroup and then they start to talk back and forth in borderline gibberish. The pick up crude weapons that were spread throughout the room.

Remy sees that the goblins are regrouping and he wants to end this before they start attempting to mount an offensive.  Remy really hopes that he'll get some gold in here because of what he's about to do.  He quickly grabs his money pouch and takes out 5k in gold.  He holds it in his hand for a second before all of the coins start to glow.  Everybody take cover behind the wall!

Remy them throws all of the coins that he was holding into the room.  The coins land all over the place and then Remy rushes and ducks behind the wall outside of the room.  Not long after there is the sound of a bunch of little explosions and some pieces of the coins come flying out of the doorway.

Shortly after the explosions you hear the goblins screaming before there is just the sound of a few thuds and some of the last shrapnel settling onto the floor.

(+150 exp all. Sidney said he is fine with just 1 of the 5 goblins as a loot roll. Both Tokara and Remy should take 2 loot rolls that are 6 sided die.)

tokara took cover on the outside of the door frame, hearing the explosions it sound like poppers from ingus. hearing the popping stop tokara walked in and started to examine and loot two bodys. seeing the carnage his attack just did tokara was impressed. "see sidney he can be helpful." tokara was looting what he could. he noticed the room was speckled with gold from the coins. "remind me to never gold check a coin you touch remy." tokara said. it was a brutal attack he just did.

Looking over the goblins Tokara finds 250 gold and a large steel mallet that looks really odd for a goblin to be carrying.  Meanwhile looking around the room they would see an oven with human bones near them.  In the corner there was a flat chest filled with pock-marks from the shrapnel.

Sidney ducks behind the wall as remy tells them to. What are you going to do? Buy em' off with charity? Then he hears the popping of the little explosions. He hears Tokara say something about Remy being useful. He walks in the room and his eyes widen a little. That's not a very graceful charity, it is one hell of a chain blast though.... He then walks over to one of the goblins and checks it.

Remy looks back in and is slightly surprised at how effective it had been. He brushes off Tokara's comment about Sidney apparently having thought of him as being useless. Remy figured that he did kind of have a vagabond look. Remy ignores the remaining goblins when he sees the chest. He looks it over and then flinches as he opens it as he is expecting to set off a trap or get attacked by a mimic or something.
