The Mendefera Storage Dungeon

The member 'Tokara Shire' has done the following action : Dices roll

Tokara made his way into the dungeon snapping trees could be heard. If Sidney was to turn around and look up he would see trees hulked over as a large beast covered in gold plating with skin of ivory looking down at them. The face yelled horse killer, but the dramatic color difference showed this one was either a rare mutation, or whole new beast altogether. From its maw it dripped saliva as it had its eyes fixated on the cart heading into the dungeon. This creature was obviously hungry and they had just thought it found its next meal. The trees slowly gave way under its immense weight, causing it to fall with a loud crash. This would give Sidney enough time to get into the dungeon warn Tokara and close the ramp, as it slowly began to regain its composure and stand back up. If they did think lick this fight may be the last this creature was going to make sure it ate something.

As he waits at the intersection and still he doesn't see anybody he figures that he should head back to the room that they had all been in. It isn't long before he enters the room and he gets there just in time to see Tokara leading Soot down the ramp. I take it you have Sidney leading up the rear no? he asks this pretty sure that he knows the answer but at the same time he would prefer not to assume.

Sidney had taken one step to follow Tokara when he heard snapping sounds coming from the trees.  He is quick to turn that direction and see a giant gold colored creature that was reminiscent of a Horse Killer, only it looked battle-scarred and a bit bigger than a regular Horse Killer.  Sidney doesn't take very long to look it over before running towards the entrance of the Dungeon.  There's only one thing that he could think of that matched what he had just seen and the information he knew about it were vague accounts of extremely dire situations.  It isn't long before he hears a loud crash.  

He doesn't turn around to see what it was though as he is quickly inside and right behind Tokara.  Quickly, get your cart and animals through to the hallway!  We need to do it now.  Sidney would then jump down and press the pressure plate, causing the ceiling to close back in.

While he hadn't exactly explained what was going on, the look on his face made it obvious that this was not a good situation as he looked more concerned now than he did against the Lich.

tokara was leading soot in to the area more when sidne came running in babbling about taking soot and crackers in deeper. "sidney whats the urgentcy?" tokara said rather bewilered by his action but then soot started to get restless and crackers was growling at the door way. "confounded animals..." tokara said as he then noticed sidney was closing the secret entrance and he didn't look good. he remebered sidney didnt run from the over grown chicken he and him had fought. what would make him looks so shocked. "sidney get in the cart.." tokara could head the cracks of trees as some thing big was coming. "remy get in...." tokara got in to the seat of his cart and tried to get soot to go forward. twords the tunnle tokara would have to menouver stood while staying hunched over.

The gear and stone grinded as the gate way closed from disuse over so many years. But the slow grind of stone could be heard was a good sign it still worked. But the noise was soon over powered by the sound of thumping, some thing big was running towards the gate very fast. Then right as the gate s final light came to a slow fade the sounds of the grinding stopped. There was the sound of of great grinding as the gate was slowly forced open. From the like a clawed hand chipped way some of the stone as it got a grip. Another claw came in and grabbed the top of the entrance. It looked as it it was being ripped open. Soon the head of a beast could be seen the claws and body glimmered in the fading light. The head let out a god awful roar that sound like glass being scraped with a cutter. The door was not going to last the old gear sounded like they where giving way to the beasts power. This creature wound need a moment to get its full body in to the room as it was making sure the door didn’t come back up.

Remy was yawning as Sidney ran into the dungeon in panic and pressed to close the door. The only real reference Remy had to go off from was his composure against the Lich which wasn't bad. If this was as bad as his facial expression made it look like than it was bad. Shortly after this thought processed Remy made note that the door was closing. He starts to head towards the cart when he hears the thudding and then louder grinding. He looks at the door and can see first a claw, then a second claw and then its head. Remy runs and then jumps in the cart right as it lets out its grating roar. Oddly enough Remy's only verbal reaction to all of this was, It's too early in the morning for all of this crap, no? It kind of sounded as though Remy was jaded to all of this.

Sidney ignores Tokara for a while but he does get in the cart. He isn't all that surprised when the gears start grinding and the monster starts opening the door back up. That's the urgency! says Sidney. As he anxiously waits for Tokara to get Soot moving. Sidney is quickly fiddling with some of the gear of his trying to make sure he was prepared in the case that he might need to try and fight this creature off.

tokara now saw the urgency that had sidney worried. a large beast from what he could see looked simmler to the horse killer he killed the other day. and this one was much stonger then any thing he had faced. he clack the rains so soot was jumped and the cart moved in to the tunnle. "i need light!" tokara said as the tunnel was dark. the side of the cart scrapped the wall as he was holding soot back from full out charging threw the tunnels. he couldn't see where the turn was. he tried to edge soot more in to the middle of the tunnel. crackers was growling and barking between remy and sidney but slightly at the same time interested in keeping his balance and bouncing between them.

the beast crawled its way in to the doungeon just was the three mad it in to the tunnel. the beast its self stood over 15 feet tall. the tuneel was 10 feet all around. the gate now was forever open seeing as it destroyed the gears in it. with heavy panting the beast went up to the tunnel and roares so load every one would feel like there ears where being beaten by the vibrations it caused in a confined area. this was done before the creature started to crawl its way in to the tunnel. being so big and not used to holding it wieght up in the tunnel i was foruced to crawl. but it was still a fast crawler, its claws breaking in to the stone flooring.

(kings roar: most male boss creatures have the kings roar the very sound of the creature roaring will case every one fighting againest it to loose 10% stamina once a fight)

Remy was taking one of the crystal torches out when the Golden Horse Killer roars.  Remy covers his ears, dropping the torch into the cart briefly as the roar hurt his ears.  He looks back at the Golden Horse Killer and then back down once it stops roaring.  He sees the torch roll towards the end of the cart.  Shit! Remy quickly reaches for it and right before it can roll off from the back of the cart he grabs onto it and holds it towards the front of the cart as it lights.

Sidney is holding onto the side of the cart as it heads into the tunnel. He is watching the golden horse killer. He hears it roar and flinches a second before cringing and covering his ears, lowering the stance of his a little in pain. His eyes close tightly for a moment. The roar is loud enough that he can feel the vibrations across his body. When he feels it stop roaring he opens his eyes and then he cautiously takes his hands off from his ears.

tokara was stunned by the golden killers roar casing him to pull on the reins to hault soot too quick causing every one would jerk in the cart, but they wouldnt be the worest suffering crackers started whines and tried to cover his poor littler ears but to no avail. soot was freaking out going on to her hind legs letting out noises that normal hourse made while scared and wasnt moving as the echo was making her hold in place. tokara could see the turn coming up but soot was not gona move easiely. uncoverin his ears tokara jumped out of the cart to lead soot. hooping back int to the cart would be easy. "shit bloody horse is sppoked stiff." crackers how ever found him self a corner of the cart and whimpers. taking the torch from remmy his weaposn in the back of the cart tokara takes the reins and trys to pull soot but she still to stiff as the beast is closing in. "come on you. move!" he yells to soot. who still stood still.

the beast let out a low tone growl simmlilr to an aligators hissing but much bigger. bashing its heavy metal body threa the tunnel the creature was getting close. its mouth open to increase airflow in to its body. its large limbs dug up the floor. seeing as the horse had stoped the beast got excited and raised its body so quickly it drove the spikes on its back in to the stone ceiling the beast was only 20 feet away from them. with the bright lighting from the torched even in front of the horse the beasts big blue eyes looked almost blind. so while it struggled to get its self free from the stone it had its mouth open drooling coming from it. it slams its heavy tail and wenches its body free but caused some rocks to fall on its sellf taking its gazed off them as it hissed.

Remy watches in surprise as the monster shows excitement and makes a mistake. He notices the look of its eyes which reminds him of creatures that were more suited to seeing in the dark. If he was right, then this probably would be bad. He thinks of a way to deter it and to test its vision. He charges a card and flicks it towards the monster's face with it blowing up and flashing brightly as this was meant to cause a flash, not an explosion.

As Remy throws the card and Soot isn't moving, Sidney decides to do something desperate. He is unsure of why the sword blade grows to the length that it does and wishes it would grow longer. He jumps down from the back of the cart and gets just within 20 feet of the monster before gripping the blade tightly with both hands and concentrating. Suddenly the blade grows to an amazing 20 feet. Sidney slashes across the width of the tunnel to try and hit the monster as Sidney's blade smoothly passes through the wall, allowing for him to swing the weapon in a space that would be too confined for a normal weapon even half the size of Sidney's. As he finishes the slashes Remy's card explodes with a flash of light which he hadn't expected. He closes his eyes briefly from the pain of the flash in the dark hallway and he tries to regain his bearings.

(Below is stun chance roll as I'm sure that the horizontal slash would hit the horsekiller in such a confined space. 4-6 is a stun)

As a wrenched its body free the horse killer begun to move towards his targets. Belly crawling through such tight area for such a large creature, it was closing and quickly as Sidney slashed it with his sword causing it to drop from paralysis, as that happened Remy's card exploded into a bright flash causing it to blind the creature as its eyes stayed open in the flash. It was unable to see what was going on in front of it. It would lay there deep breaths huffing out of it as it was paralyzed but not dead.

Tokara slowly was able to nudge soot to get moving slowly though, causing the cart to move a little closer to the turn that was coming up. The bright flash and sudden drop of the beast meant that Remi and Sydney were doing their fared deal to this creature but Tokara had not seen what they were doing because his eyes were adjusted to the light of the lantern. All he cared about was getting soot and crackers in the cart out of this tunnel. "Come on stubborn old girl, I don't want to lose another horse to these beast of hell." Tokara had said pulling on the reins trying to get her to move going slowly but she was still moving.

Remy curser inwardly as Sidney jumps down and seemingly does not understand what Remy is doing. Come to think of it he just remembered that he hadn't told Sidney about this attack before and while Tokara had seen it Sidney had not. As Sidney drops the creature with some type of skill, Tokara has gotten Soot moving. Remy thinks for a second and stares at the creature's large maw before looking over at Tokara. Tokara! Quick, I need your money!"

Hearing the thud from the creature in front of him Sidney panic swings in front of him again while yelling, YOU MOTHERFUCKING JACKASS! WARN PEOPLE BEFORE YOU DO STUPID SHIT LIKE THAT!!! Sidney then started stumbling backwards as his eyes still hadn't adjusted back to the darkness of the cave. This was a situation that was horrible for him to be in, not even seeing if he hit the damned thing or not. He may have been unfairly harsh to Remy, but the result of what happened could make this situation even deadlier for him.

the stun wore off only for the beast to be struck once again by sidneys blade. the beast could not see from the flash of remys card causing it to let loud huffs of its breath out as it staggers on its belly. sniffing for prey. it would drag its self closer to sidney as it was catching his scent. its mouth started to gape open as it hissed at sidney redy to snap at him.

tokara hears remy as for his money . "what on earth do you need with money at a time like this...." not really thinking about remy earlyer exsploit with gold in a small room tokara throws all his gold in to the back of the cart so he can continue leading soot. hearing sidneys crys at remy tokara yells back. "Shut up and just follow my voice you dumb ass." tokara would yell at him.

Remy ignored the bickering and griping from Sidney and Tokara and quickly poured most of the money into his own money bag before tying it up and dropping it in the back of the cart before tying up the bag that he had.  He clutched it tightly as he jumped down from the cart.  He had a stained look on his face before the bag of gold started to glow an abnormal pinkish color that was really pale, even for Remy this was odd.  He chargers towards the Horse Killer and it's large gaping mouth before taking a major risk and throwing it straight towards its gaping mouth from only about 6 feet away which is near where Sidney is, with the intent of throwing it into the monster's gaping maw.  As he does so he says to him.  Get as far away as you can now.
