The Mendefera Storage Dungeon

As Sidney's eyes adjust he sees exactly how close he is to the creature but before he can really react properly Remy is right near him. Sidney realizes what he is doing and deactivates his sword before rushing back towards the cart. You're crazy, but if this works... This was super dangerous what Remy was trying to do if Sidney was right about it and the prospect of it scared him more than the Horse Killer and that was saying something.

the bag of coins hit the mark the GHK clamped it mouth shut and swallowed the pouch of coins. hissing again the fermillir sound of poping could be herd from inside. it would roar but at the same time a fountain of blood flowed from out of its mouth as it dropped to the ground. remys attempt was successful in bring the creature down. with blood flowing from its mouth only on thing could be know was its inside where mush now. it would lay there almost life less its eyes staring still, in a manner most unnerving to any. the blood from this creature smelled of heavy metals.

Tokara had stopped the cart looking back with the torch and soot stood there huffing. rasing the light torch he saw the beast laying there on the ground blood pouring from its mouth. "is it dead?" he said witha stupid question. crackers was in the back of the cart growling at the beast. tokara looked at crackers and the beasts who eyes where still open. and an shiver ran up his spine even tokara felt some thing off. "get away from it now!..." tokara said looking for his sword and grabbed the hilt. some thing seemed off it was just too easy of a kill.

After Remy throws the pouch into the GHK's mouth his knees buckle a little from the massive drain of what he had just done. Being so close though he notices the look too. He starts towards the cart but his legs are still weak so it's a little slow. The GHK looked pretty dead and with all of the blood coming out from its mouth it was hurt pretty good, but the look in the eyes had been chilling.

Sidney watches in surprise as Remy's tactic works. He watches the blood pour out of its mouth and then sees Remy buckle before hearing Tokara. Sidney looks to the creature's eyes and cringes at the look of determination in them. He moves forwards towards it just enough to get to Remy and pull him towards the cart faster than Remy is able to by himself. Remy had definately just earned Sidney's respect which could sometimes be a hard thing to do.

tokara was right to warn them of the eyes. the eyes turned a blood red as the creature slowly arossed its moouth hug open blood pours still from the wounds. the creature likebefore smashed its back in the the rock but started walking towrds them the cave cealing started to colapes around the monter. but it was still mothing tword the grinding it back throught the solit stone the loud sound of stone falling down in to its body as the cave started to colapse in on them as the beast destroyed the hall way. it was closing in on them its body powered for one last final atempt.

tokara left this sword where it was and tries to run and help sidney with remy. this was a dumb ass move for him to pull a raging beast strong enough to rip its body through solid stone and he was running right too it how stupid was he for doing this. but his comrades where in dangers and even if he could fight it. the halls would prevent him from being able to swing any thing worth swinging. if he was close to remy and sidney he would grab remy and start to help him along with much more ease then sidney.

As the beast closed in on the group of three, Remy attempts to move faster but he is still feeling drained from the attack he had done a short while ago that had dropped the large beast. It wasn't long before he suddenly heard a loud noise behind him as the tunnel was being collapsed by the sudden burst of strength of the Horse Killer. He can't do much though as he is already going as fast as he can. After a while he is to the cart though by the sound of things behind him he couldn't help but wonder if that was going to make any difference or not. It was that feeling of having pissed someone off who is about to pummel your face in.

He crawls up into the cart and takes a quick look at Crackers before turning around to see the awesome sight of the Horse Killer destroying the tunnel with brute strength as it forces its way close to them. It's one of the sights that would make you wet yourself. He backs further into the cart and hopes Tokara can get Soot moving. In a way he wished that Tokara hadn't come to help so that there wouldn't be the suspense of waiting that he was feeling right now. Of course that would have been selfish though as it would have made Tokara go through that feeling instead.

Sidney was grateful to Tokara for having assisted him in getting Remy to the cart. He can hear the creature back on its feet behind him. It sounds as though it's destroying the tunnel. Sidney tries to move faster to get to the cart and Remy does seem to be going faster as well. As they get to the cart he helps Remy into it.

He takes a second to turn around and look at the Gold Horse Killer and does not like what he sees. Surely enough the GHK is tearing apart the tunnel, crawling towards them with immense strength. Sidney quickly scrambles into the cart and then gets to the front of it before holding his hand just off from the plasite cutter, preparing for the worst.

With the beast massive body ripping through the ceiling of the dungeon halls cause it to cave-in on the beast. Right as its body just put begun to get stuck in wedge between all the rocks are falling on top of it it would reach out one claw gripping it towards Tokara but as it went for him to claw drop with a large stone falling onto it mere centimeters away grazing the armor. As the dust and debris would cloud any to see what had become of the beast. All to be seen was one large claw out reach ready to grab, the dust would choke any who tried to breathe too heavily. The beast was now dead under a pile of stone and dirt, there worry of this creature was no more. But the tunnel was now blocked from going that way you have to uncover the beast by mining or moving rock. They would have to count their blessings as this near death experience, for had it not been for the confined space surely all of them would be meeting with the deaths.

The cave collapsed in behind Tokara and him carrying Remy he felt as if something had nicked his armor. Hearing the rocks rumble around sounds of metal bending Tokara self Ford to turn around to see the claw reached out in his direction. This moment may Tokara think for moment that's something he didn't often do. Had he had been just had been heavy or slower he would've fallen into this beasts clutches. Kind giving him a bit of a surge of adrenaline of near death. He sat there staring at the rubble only mere feet from the cart were crackers was growling at beast. Certainly panicking like any horse would but it was a much the horse could do. Tokara slowly gets to his feet goes to comfort his horse. " Easy that girl easy." He said touching her so that way she would know that they were still alive. Tokara look back to where he could barely make at this shadows of Remy and Sidney. " You do a live still her you just barely hanging." More or less joking with them after they're brief brush with death. Even being a seasoned fighter this still made him shake a little from adrenaline.

As the collapsing of the tunnel starts to bury the creature Remy cringes as it looks as though it will get Tokara but then a rock lands on its front limb, stopping it just shy of hurting Tokara. Remy sighs out of relief and then frowns at what Tokara says even though Remy knows that it's a joke. Zut Alors! How in the hell did we just pull that off? He asks in between heavy pants as he was even now still recovering from the attack that he had used against the beast.

After saying this he looks at Tokara and Sidney as if he is seeing if they really are alright. Now we have to figure out if we can get the damned thing out of here.

Sidney watches in what is turning into horror as the creature forges a larger tunnel for itself. The caving in of the tunnel behind it doesn't seem to slow it down at first as it starts to focus on Tokara. As Sidney thinks he'll have to pull out his blade to protect Tokara the tunnel collapses fully on the golden horse killer, trapping it. Even then it reaches out for Tokara and looks like it will claw him before a massive chunk of tunnel debris falls onto it and stops it shy of him.

After a moment of waiting he comes back to his senses a little. Let's clear out the rest of this dungeon, or at the least get away from this thing for a bit. He says as he points to the claw that can still be seen and then begins to walk around in front of soot and the cart.

Making his way in front of soot and uncoupling her from the cart leaving her harnesses on. Without saying a word Tokara agreed with Sidney's plan to get away from this beast. Tokara let soot stand there for a moment as he went back and grabbed crackers and put him in his bottoms backpack. Because the puppy was still so small crackers was poking his head out of the bag woofing a little bit. “I am with cleaning this place out. After we do I will try and work on removing some of the stone that covers the beast, atleast then we can cut it up to move it out of the way.” Tokara said as he coughed a little grabbing his torch lent to him and soots reins and starts to lead the way leaving the cart there. Crackers would woof a little bit being in the pouch looking at sidney.

Remy follows behind Tokara as he agrees with both of them. He is silent for a little while before taking notice of Crackers barking he finds it cute but can't help saying outloud, Oh sure, you're cute now, wait a couple of years when Tokara's overfed you, then you'll just be a fat, noisy, alarm system for the enemies that never shuts up and probably is food aggressive towards everyone that gets within twenty feet of your food.

While searching the dungeon you all realise it's been cleared out most likely because of the golden horse killer scaring everything off. In a few rooms you come across traps that you manage to work around and you find two rooms with two random chests and rooms with confiscated weapons, magic items, armor and accessories that each have three chests.

Back at the first room near the initial entrance Sidney is checking what he had gotten from the chests. They had divied up the goods and Sidney had one random chest, one weapon, armor, magic and accessory chest. He doesn't have overly high hopes and is expecting to find anthrax in one of them the way things had been going today. He is slightly apprehensive to open up the chest but he gets over it and starts seeing what he got.

In the magic chest there is a potion that is labeled as a mana tonic. It should recover 20 mana for you if you use it.

In the accessory chest there is an average gold ring that sidney finds.

tokara had used soot to drag most of the chest back to the first room. with her tied up outside the room he begins to open his chests. hoping to find some thing of worth in any of these chests. "this place seems to have more junk then treasure." crackers was walking around the room marking the walls in a puppy like fasion. soot was just out side the door letting out snorts. tokara would glimce over at sidney as he opened the chests.

In the random chest Tokara finds 15 pounds of gold bars.

In the weapon chest Tokara finds a non-folding steel pickaxe which makes it so that you have double the level gain window.

In the armor chest Tokara finds a horsekiller scale leather fishnet top with assless horsekiller leather chaps.

In the magic chest there is a mahogany wand with a shattered sapphire in the handle. There is a date on it that if correct marks it as 3000 years old, and the gem, while cracked provides an enchantment that allows it to fire a stream of flame 3 feet from the wand that deals 1 damage over 1 post and can be used once per battle.

In the accessory chest Tokara finds a blingin' gold chain necklace that has 6 inch chain links

Remy was relieved to almost be out of this darned place. He figured that they would have to wait a little while though as they would need to rest up a bit before leaving with all of the materials and such. He looks at the chests and ponders how much the golden horse killer would bring back in the city taking into consideration the condition that it would end up in by the time they got it out of the dungeon.
