The Mendefera Storage Dungeon

tokara took out his hammer and held that with one hand as well along witht he metoer sword. "what the hell. a lich here... this just mabe me shit a brick..." tokara gritted his teeth, the last thing on his mind being down here was an annoying lich. tokara looked to sidney. "got any ideas on what to do now?" tokara had known sidney did know alot about the outdoors. so maybe he would have an idea on how to fight this bloody thing.

(Not going to post as NPC until after Sidney and Remy's next posts.)

Sidney's face takes the shape of a frown the moment he sees the Lich start to form.  He knew what it was in that moment.  He thinks for a second before his thinking is interupted by it summoning several strong skeletons.  He then hears Tokara ask about what to do.  After taking a second to remember what he had heard he comes up with a quick little, probaby flawed plan.  

He starts off by saying what he remember, or at least the important things he remembered about lichs  A lich is a vessel for a deceased necromancer's soul so that they can continue on a goal of their's whether that be protecting an area, getting revenge or just causing havoc.  They only summon when on the ground and physical attacks can't harm them even though they have a bit of a physical form...  If we can kill it though, every thing that it had summoned should dissapate back to the dust.

He then looks at Remy.  This is going to sound unreasonable, but you need to get the skeletons' attention.  Only until Tokara can help you fight through them.

He then turns to Tokara.  This is going to sound really stupid but.... Throw me at the Lich.  I'll run towards you and then you can hold your hands or arms out, I'll jump onto your hands and then you can throw me, if I time the jump well and you put enough force in I should be able to make it.

Sidney wasn't about to wait around until they agreed, he just hoped that Tokara's strength and his own agility would be enough to make this work.  Sidney lines himself up and then holds his plasite cutter backwards.  He then starts running towards Tokara, slightly to the side of him, hoping Tokara goes with the plan.

tokara knew very well what sidney was thinking this kind of thing he was used to doing when he was a soilder to help the smaller grunts get over walls. tokara dropped both is weapons and put's one hand on the other because he couldn't lace his fingers together with the mitten gauntlets. the moment sidney came to him he used alot of force to throw sidney. but this was going to be fun to see if sidney face planted or not. the plan was in goo intentions but tokara was out of pratiace with his and felt the stamina drain.

Remy watches and nods as Sidney makes up his plan. Remy pulls out a handful of cards, 11 to be exact. He charges them up and then he throws them towards the ground rapidly at the feet of all 11 of the raised skeletons. He is hoping to get them all after him and then for Tokara to come and help him afterwards as he likely would be unable to fend off all of the skeletons that were surrounding them.

The skeletons all slowly tilt their heads towards Remy as the cards explode in front of them. They all start to rush towards Remy, their eyes glowing a dull purple, though they are still a little distance away though. Meanwhile the lich seems to be staring off into space as it's eyes are glowing a dull purple color. It stays levitating there in place as it seems to be focusing on controlling the raised skeletons meaning its focus is likely on Remy right now.

Sidney notices that Remy got their attention. He had to do this quickly so that Tokara could get to assisting Remy for this plan to work at all. Sidney continues running towards Tokara and then he jumps up to Tokara's hands where Tokara gives him a push. Sidney then kicks off from the push at the height of the push. He is launched towards the lich and he is aimed pretty well. He pulls his blade up and he gets ready to stab at the lich and to try and latch on to it. He hopes the lich doesn't dodge it though because if it does he is screwed.

tokara had finished throwing sidney then herd the blasts of remys cards. turning to see the odds he was against. "11 to 1. let's even the odds." tokara picks his hammer up and cracks his neck and bangs on his chest armor with his hammer to get attention. "RAORR!!" he went in and swings the hammer at the closest skeleton near him trying to bring it down on its head like driving a nail in to wood.

Seeing what they are up against Remy feels a little useless, the eyes of the skeletons were likely the lich, but he couldn't attack the lich right now without bothering what Sidney was trying to do, at the same time he was unlikely to be able to have much of an effect on the skeletons. With this in mind he runs over towards the gap that Tokara was making and he would charge about 5 more cards and throw them at some of the closer Skeletons, hoping to draw their aggression, or at least make the lich have them come after him to keep them from being too thick around Tokara.

The skeleton that Tokara had hit with his hammer crumbles to the ground. Meanwhile the lich is focusing on Sidney and is trying to dodge a little to the side, though it doesn't dodge quite enough and Sidney will likely be able to grab ahold of it. Due to its inattentiveness of the situation with Tokara and Remy, the closest skeletons do start to head towards Remy rather than Tokara as had seemed to have been Remy's plan.

Sidney grabs ahold of the lich's robe with one hand and stabs his blade into it with the other. He activates it and a blade of what would appear to be electricity bursts through the other side of the lich. Sidney is hoping that this will massively hurt the lich but he has no real way of knowing. Sure he had read about liches before but not many people actually were able to kill them and write about it.

tokara turns rather pissed that nothing is paying attention to him. "oi what am i chopped liver!" tokara puts his hammer down and grips his meteor sword with both hands and swing in a horizontal arc, his stamina draining as he felt it sucked from him as a shock wave of ice traveled towards the largest bunch of skeletons. "eat this you bonie bastards!" tokara would drops to a knee a some what feeling the stamina drained from him. the stardust shock wave traveled in a 20 foot wide cone for 30 feet want thing in side that cone would be splashed with a liquid like ice that would instantly freeze to the body. tokara would stand up even for him that attack took allot out of him.

As Remy draws the attention of the skeletons Tokara uses some kind of ice attack. As he does this Remy had charged another 6 cards and thrown them at the skeletons that weren't in front of Tokara. The cards go through Tokara's attack and freeze but they continue on their path with an odd glow through the ice towards the other skeletons. The intent of the attack is to draw the aggression of the other skeletons like he had the other ones.

The lich lets out a scream as Sidney stabs it and latches on, but the scream turns into a shrill bloodcurdling screech as Sidney's magic blade extends piercing through the lich. It starts to fall towards the floor, but it is only falling at half the rate as one would expect as though it is trying to stay up. Meanwhile Tokara's attack coats all of the skeletons in its path with ice. The ice is cracking though as they are trying to break through some of the ice but for now they are immobilized. Remy's cards pass through Tokara's attack and coat with ice before exploding near their targets, spreading ice over them and having the same effect as Tokara's skill.

(Tokara and Remy have discovered Freezeout. A skill in which a heated explosive passes through Tokara's slash skill, picking up the liquid ice and spreading it over targets close to the explosion.)

Sidney keeps holding onto the lich but as they start to fall down Sidney attempts to bring his legs up behind him, to try to catch as much drag as he can to try to avoid being below the lich when or if they hit the ground. He grimaces as the lich screeches. He wants to cover his ears and that is his natural reflex but he avoids doing it as he doesn't want to fall down from the lich.

tokara while getting up from his kneel and was awestruck by the effect remy and him had just done. seeing as his effect had slowed down the skeletons he then noticed the armors on half of them. "remy watch out i think some of these skeletons are from around Ignus might mean their fire element." tokara picked up his great sword again and waited he wouldn't use the attack twice in a row as it might make him faint. "lets try that again when i catch my breath" he placed hi sword on his shoulder and started to move towards remy making it so he could defend him if needed. also putting all the skeletons in to a bottle neck might help their chances. tokara moved about half way to remy keeping his back too him and watching the skeletons. hearing the screech he winces but hes herd louder screams from the girls hes been with so it was just a minor annoyance to him.

Remy holds his cards out and nods to Tokara when he mentions about trying that again. Remy wasn't quite sure why the combination that they had used had that effect. Looking at the armor types it was interesting to hear about some of them being likely from Ignus. At the same time looking them over Remy figures that the other skeletons that are wearing the other style of armor are likely from Ventus. He looks around a little, making sure that none of the skeletons have broken out of the ice yet.

The lich keeps on screeching but it stops resisting falling as much as it drops the long distance and lands with a thud on the ground with Sidney barely landing on top of it. (Sidney taking 20 damage from the fall) It struggles as the blade is sapping away at its life constantly. Meanwhile the skeletons have regained the ability to move but the joints of the armor have freezed up a little so their movement is very hindered. They for now are focused on trying to free themselves fully of the ice.

Sidney continues clinging onto the lich with the blade piercing through it. He's feeling his stamina drain as he continues and he hopes that he can hold on to the attack long enough to defeat the lich. As they fall Sidney does manage to land on top of the lich but the fall still hurts him quite a bit, regardless though he is still able to keep ahold on his blade and continue what he is doing.

tokara noticed the skeletons where not stopped by his attack. "remy... i think we are deep horse shit. that attack of mine caused a horse killer to drop. an these simple skeletons are still moving." he was pointing out this was going to be very hard for them to just keep this up. he noticed sidney had dropped the lich to the ground. but still it was not dead. "remy let me know when you want me to attack again... i think i got one more shot in me..." he said reading it to his side with both hands. he was standing in a left handed bat stance but holding it right handed.

"It must be that the only reason they're still going is magic." says Remy as he watches them. "I guess unless something drastic happens we should do that again right off." he says as he charges some cards preparing to time it with Tokara's attack for maximum effect. Tokara was right though, they would be in real deep shit if this didn't end soon. Then again they had entered a random dungeon without any knowledge of what was inside, something like this was not too far out of the ordinary.

Suddenly the Lich lets out one more shrill cry before stopping all movement, a shattering sound can be heard from around where its neck would be. Shortly afterwards all of the skeletons fall apart and drop to the ground, their weapons shattering.

Sidney gets up from the lich after making sure that it is dead. He then retracts the magical blade and then sheathes the Plasite cutter. He looks around and his attention is brought back to the chests. If everything really is dead now we should check out the chests I guess. He then checks the lich. I'll go last, I just want to check to make sure that everything really won't come back after us. He then goes over to one of the skeletons and checks it out.

(2 rolls per person, 1 6 side and 1 big boy. 1-3 Weapon 4-6 Armor. The big boy is the higher the better.)

tokara looked and awe as the skeltons dropped. dropping his sword to the side he noticed sidney standing over what seemed to be a dead lich. hearing him talk about the chests. "right best to check the loot now so we can set up a small camp real quick because face it i am fucking tired." tokara would go first up to a chest and kick it open and looked back at the crew making sure nothing was moving. then looked at would be in his chest.
