With Andras continuing mining he gets back into another almost duplicate vein of iron ore that he mines out and sets with the other iron ore that he had just mined out. He figures that he's now got about 17 pounds of iron ore in total with him. He's keeping good track of the total of materials that he has so that he has about as much as he can get while still being able to move well on the way back to Mendefera.

As Andras continues mining he comes to a vein of ore that he only slightly recognized as being natural steel. He was surprised to find it as he didn't know that there was any here until he just found it. He sets it with all of his other materials including the iron, coal, gems and the rock. He then, as normal after he mines something out, goes right back to mining once again.

Continuing on with the mining Andras comes to some silver that he again call a dwarf over to mine for him as he still doesn't feel as though he is skilled enough to mine out something so soft. The dwarf happily comes over and mines the silver ore out from the vein and then he leaves. After he leaves, Andras resumes mining again, amazed at the string of luck that he has had so far and wondering if it was always this good as he had been told it was better mining.

As if in answer to the question that Andras had just asked himself, he comes to a rock that he is having a hard time mining through and around. After a good deal of time he has gotten past the hard wall of rock and then got into some easier material once again. He is continually mining and not taking any breaks as he figures that it might be relatively soon that he has the amount of materials that he wants.

It isn't much longer after having had to dig through the rock with his folding pickaxe that Andras gets to coal again. This time about twice as much as the last time that he had found coal in this specific mining spot but that wasn't necesarilly all that impressive. The total of coal that he had though was decent at a total of around twenty three pounds of coal which was a pretty decent amount.

Andras continues mining along and as he does so he comes back into yet another medium sized pocket of iron ore like he had a few times in this spot. As he mined it out he noticed a chuck of ore with some white glowing gem in it. He also mines that out as well and manages to do it sucessfully. He then sets the gem and the ore with the rest of his material before resuming with his mining yet again.

As Andras continues mining in this area that had given him wonderful luck to this point, he gets into another small area of iron ore that is hardly noticeable. Nonetheless he mines the iron ore out and discovers about a pound there which he then takes and places with his other materials. He then turns his attention back to mining as he is about to the amount that he can comfortably carry. He figures that he might as well top off.

As Andras continues mining he comes to the largest vein of iron ore that he had come to yet. He mines it out with some skill and checks it out before putting it with the other ore that he had mined to this point. There is a total of three pounds in the last bunch he had mined and he was over twenty now in the total amount of iron ore. He then goes back to mining.

Andras ends up mining into a large vein of coal. In the coal he sees some sapphire which he mines out in a large chunk before finishing with the coal. He gathers everything and determines that he has to leave 13 pounds of coal behind which he decides to let a dwarf have. He then walks out of the deeper section of the mine, through the shallower section and outside where he says goodbye to the dwarf there.
