Hunting the Femorian

They all appear to be set so they all prepare to sleep and they do so. The next morning Remy wakes up and can't find the 3 anywhere. Looking around he finds their pay gone from his money pouch. He goes outside and uses his hunting skills to see what direction they had gone based off from their footprints. They had gone off in the direction that they were supposed to have gone. Remy scratches his head and then decides to wait a while before leaving. He gets some of the food out that he had bought for the trip and eats breakfast.

Remy is starting to get really agitated waiting for the three to come back. Suddenly he can see them coming in the distance all looking very happy with themselves. They come up beside him and the tallest one speaks. "We killed the Femorian, we would have waited but we were all up an hour before you said to be and were like, should we wait for him, BALLS NO!" He then throws a smoke bomb and when the smoke clears they've all vanished except for Remy whose face is as red in anger as it has been in a long time.

Remy eats a quick breakfast and then starts heading off towards Mendefera. He is still beyond angry at the three brothers. As he marches towards the city which is still a long ways off he can only hope that he doesn't run into any encounters though he knows that hoping this will be futile as he has too far to go not to run into something. He keeps up the pace as he heads back towards Mendefera with a purpose.

Remy continues on his way back to Mendefera. He decides that he should probably either hire a mercenary to just outright travel with him. Probably he should actually check to see if they have a good reputation this time instead of just going after the first group of people that he can find. The last ones were obviously skilled but they were too much of loose cannons as was evidence by all of their idiocy that they had just done.

Remy continues his way back to Mendefera. This whole situation sucked up through this point of it. He figures that when he gets back to Mendefera he might just hang around the city and do some odd quests in and around the city. He didn't really care about the quality of the job, he only cared about getting some more cash and maybe settling in to Mendefera for a while. There was a lot of cash to made made if one was willing.

Remy continues on his way back to Mendefera. He is making relatively short work of the trip as he is taking now sidetrips whatsoever. Of course Remy taking jobs in Mendefera like mentioned earlier would just be so that he could go and find his son. Of course most of what he did was to that end and nothing would stop him from it short of him running into something or having a health issue that would leave him dead.

*As Remy continues on he trips on something and falls onto dirt that is oddly flat and hard beneath the top layer.*

Remy trips and falls onto something hard. He gets up and then sees the area of dirt that he landed on. He can't figure why dirt would be so hard so he starts to try and wipe the dirt off from whatever it was that he had just fallen on top of. Out here god only knows what it could be, especially with how close he was to Mendefera which was the largest city of the country.

*As he continues clearing the dirt a metal door comes into view that leads straight down*

Remy continues clearing the dust, picking up more of a purpose as he finds something metal. The more he clears dirt off the more obvious it is to him that what is beneath him is a metal door of some sort. He continues cleaning it off and when he has it in the open he tries to open the door to take a peak inside to see if it was somehow recently used. He wonders what this lead to.

*The door comes open slowly and remy can see that the stairs and hall below haven't had traffic in years. He can also smell something that most travellers would recognize, the stench of goblins*

As Remy sees this and smells the goblins he very quietly closes the door again and then starts wiping dirt back onto the door until it is covered. He tries to make it look less fresh which is kind of futile. He charges a card and throws it at a tree on the path causing there to be a visible singe mark on the tree that will stay for quite some time so that it'll be easier to remember where it was. He then starts heading back towards Mendefera.

Remy is quick to make a plan. This isn't anything he'd have to pay someone to help him with, just share the possible loot. He wants to get at least a couple of people to come with him but he can only think of one person that he knew of that would be a great help. That was Tokara Shire as he was a beast. Remy guessed that Tokara should be the first person that he seeks out.

As Remy continues along he continues thinking about this as he gets closer and closer to Mendefera. After a short while he looks up and sees that he is extremely close to one of the gates. He is still mostly thinking about the door he had discovered. God only knows what would be down there other than goblins. The goblins were a pretty good sign that there would be loot though. It also probably meant that there were too many stronger creatures inside.
