Tokara and Fala (horse travel from WW to mende)

Falabella was shocked at the size of the beast compared to the baby they had seen since she had never seen a full grown Horse Killer before.  Her pony was terrified and tried to bolt but she managed to keep him heading in the correct direction with her legs and reins.  She would keep him safe or let him run; she didn't want such a vivacious horse to be killed.  Now that he wasn't fighting her control, she could free up her hands to attack.

She saw a strange man come out of the woods and attack, throwing a kunai.  As long as he was helping them, she didn't care who he was or why he was doing it; 2 ranged fighters and Tokara may be able to handle this... since the 3 centaurs ran away so quickly, not that she could blame them under the circumstances.

Hearing Tokara tell her what to do almost made her roll her eyes, *what you want me to strip and do a dance?* but she blushed because he was relying on her in a fight and she was extremely happy.  But now she had to decide what to do, all her spells took a little bit of time... and this thing was pretty well armored.  She had to tell Tokara to be careful of her friendly fire before he got too close, "This'll take a minute!  Keep your body at least 3 feet away from him or I can't guarantee I wont hit you."

She put her reins in her mouth and grabbed 4 Damaging Needles made from her Monster Metal, 2 from each side of her corset, and hurled them at the Horse Killer, making sure not to hit her horse in the head.  She then began charging her Wind Sickles, hoping a magical attack would do some damage and help take some of the attention from Tokara.

Remy's attack hits off from the back of the horse killers head but is just bounces off not even leaving a scratch. The horse killer ignores the attack as it sees a source of food in front of it. It watches as Tokara charges at it keeping its focus on the horse until Falabella throws the damaging needles. As soon as she releases them the horse killer slightly turns to the side and uses its mace-like tail to hit them back towards the attackers. Three of them are hit towards Tokara's midsection and one is heading back towards Falabella's midsection.

The horse killer then faces forward looking at Tokara's horse and begins to charge Tokara.

Remy watches all of this unfold and starts to worry when it starts a charge at Tokara and his horse. Remy runs forward and throws his charged card towards the side of the horse killers head. If it doesn't drastically change direction it should blow up right next to its head. Remy then starts charging another card. He hoped that the large man on the horse knew what he was doing as it could be disastrous for the large man if he didn't.

Tokara was surprised the horse killer knocked the needles back at him. This took very little thinking form him as he griped his sword hard and swung it to deflect the needles, he was around 25 feet from the beast. But he didn’t noticed the sword grew an aura as it was swung. The moment it was swung one handed it let out a icy blue colored shock wave, the needles still hit tokara from him being too slow. The first one would crack the armor and the other two broke in and hit him. But tokara would see the shockwave not only escape his sword it also nicked his horse. The horse would begin to freeze under him as he wondered if the shockwave would hit the monster in front of him. he felt like his energy was zapped from him.


(18 damage from the needles. 240-27=213 the first needle broke the armor as it had no piece resistance.)

(stardust shock-wave 100 stamina cost. 230 stamina-100=130 stamina left. if stardust hits the magic at first is 600 then dose 300 frost bite for 4 turns.)

Falabella saw what the Horse Killer did to her needles and was furious *How DARE it turn my weapons against Brother!*  Figuring that she and Tokara could take the hits, she continued her attack without trying to block or dodge.  She took the needle hit on her midsection, making sure it hit her front in a place where her Damaging needles were woven into her corset forming a metal weapon barrier.  One of her Damaging Needles MM in corset in front took 9 damage and was weakened to half it's health, but at least she wasn't wounded.  Seeing her attack rebounded had forced her to come to the conclusion that all her Needles may be sent back, she would have to use them sparingly if at all.

She witnessed the stranger throw something at the Horse Killer, but was confused.  *Surely I didn't just see him throw a playing card at this thing... I doubt it wants to play Old Maid*.  Thinking about him would confuse at this point, all she could do was fight and try to not let Tokara die.

Tokara's sword was doing something it had never done before and Fala was in shock and scared at the same time.  *Just look what it was doing to his horse!  Better stay out of the way of that thing*

"Tokara, Stranger, try not to get hit by this!"  They were both a good distance away from her target, but she wanted to remind them that her attack could be dangerous if they were too close.  Tokara shouldn't need to get within 3 feet with his sword's range, and the stranger seemed to be a ranged fighter anyways.  Releasing her Wind Sickles, she felt them fly through the air.  Razor sharp blades made from the wind, *try to send that back!*  She gets started on another Wind Sickle attack, charging it up again.

The horse killer had turned its back to Remy it had no need to attack him, it saw its meal and its rider riding straight at him. the large male went to take a deep breath and a low toned growl came as it was about to shriek again but as loud as it could. It went to let it out as the card blasted right next to his head causing it to let out a whimpering whine that sounded like metal twisting. the large male turned it head looking for where th noise came from. Its sensitive hearing was making its ears ring; it did not hear tokara or falabella casting spells. The horse killer would be hit broad side in the hind legs it felt sharp chilling pain as it looked at it hind legs to see it looked like it was frozen solid, it felt the pain crawling up its body as frost bite slowly took hold.

The moment it went to shriek it was smacked with three blade of wind causing it to lose it balance from the rapid hits. But it slowly kept its ground, the beast seem to be relentless. It would begin to try and walk but the frozen limb kept it from moving too far. It let grunt of a snort its eyes focused on the last person to hit it.  it was not moving as the frost bite was doing its job causing savage pain.

Remy smirks and covers his ears when the Horse Killer shrieks. His facial expression changes quickly from a smirk to his jaw dropping slightly. He had not expected an attack of that magnitude. Remy decides to further debilitate it following Tokara's attack. He throws the charged card beneath the Horse Killer's head and instead of exploding it smolders producing a ton of smoke quickly forming a smokescreen that reached ten feet in the air and ten feet on either side of the card. The smokescreen lets out a smell of burnt plastic so it should debilitate its sense of smell and sight.

Remy begins charging another card and circling the creature towards the other side of it in hope of throwing it off from where he had been.

Tokara would drop off his horse as he noticed the mare had become frozen, poor thing had just died. But not time for mourning once dismount from the frozen creature tokara saw the beast looking at falabella, rather than wasting time gawking at what damage he did. He rushed at the horse killer to get within 5 feet of it. that when he swung at it but also remys smoke screen went off. Tokara was in the motion of swinging, there was nothing stoping him from a horizontal slash to the monster neck reagion. If he hit it that was.

As she watched the playing card explode near the horse killer's head she had much more respect for this stranger's fighting style.  *We may just get through this in one piece*.  The next card he through was doing an even more interesting job of making a billow of smoke surround the monster's head.  She knew this was a fairly smart man... good at thinking things through; she would have to pay attention to this one later, he had potential.  

The metal screeching noise it made was disconcerting, but she managed to not flinch from the sound.  Seeing it look at her she did flinch slightly, *Uh Oh... I know he said to distract it... but did I just make myself the primary target??  Or is it just because I have the only remaining live horse?*.  Fala saw Tokara jump down from his how dead horse and rush the monster.  Praying he stayed at least 3 feet away like she warned him, she releases her charged Wind Sickles.  

Readying for her next attack, Falabella charges her next Wind Sickle attack.

The beast watched as the large man dismount from his horse, when he charge it got it self-ready then by surprise a smoke screen hit in front of it. The smoke made its eye burn as it took a deep breath in in a fit of spook it panic and let out a screech of pain, it had felt the large man attacking it sword strike. With a swift movement it would smash tokara toward where Remy was heading. The attack would break and remove the chest armor off tokara, and break a few bones.

The horse killers was turned to the side when it smashed tokara it got broad sided by the wind spells again and it took a few steps out of the smoke cloud one claw rubbing its snout as the smoke was screwing with its sight and smell. Its jaw was open and drooling as it was now enraged but it would slowly drop as the frost bite from tokara sword special attack made it drop to the ground. it was still alive but it didn’t sound healthy at all.


(300 frost bite 100 damage from tokaras sword 60 damage from wind syckles, 2 damage from breathing in smoke. 462 damage, health bright red. The smash to tokara does 50 blunt damage and breaks a bone.)

Unfortunately for Remy he hadn't been running around the side of the Horse Killer or he would have been past where Tokara was hit towards.  Remy sees Tokara get hit towards him and he drops the card he had been charging.  Not having been fully charged yet the card doesn't do anything when it hits the ground.  Remy braces himself and puts his arms out.  When Tokara hits Remy, Remy looks as though he was trying to catch Tokara but he was just trying to lessen the impact.  Tokara knocks Remy to the ground with quite an impact.  The only thing lucky about it was that Tokara didn't end up landing on top of him when they hit he ground.

Tokara was sent flying by the beast’s raw power. His huge body sent flying as he felt the soft impat of flesh then ground. tokara landed with a couple bounces after hitting remy. Tokara went to get up of the ground and felt a broken rib a lower rib on the cage. But it was exemly painful even for him. he kneeled on one knee looking at remy and the beast in the smoke. “It amazing how much stronger a full grown one has then a yearling.” He said that with gasping breaths as he took what was left of the armor on his chest off. The scrap would fall to the ground with a clank. “oh beast I am not done with you yet…” tokara would grab his sword and slowly limp towards it. His sword at the ready in his left hand. The rib that broke was on the left ribcage. Tokara would have a bit of scraps and scratches from hitting the ground.

She watched as this beast knocked her brother away as if he weighed nothing but a stone.  For a moment she faltered, petrified that he wouldn't survive.  She tried to tell herself it was a stupid thought, that something like that couldn't put him down, but fear was a powerful thing.  It wasn't until she saw him get up and take a knee that the fear left, and in its place was one pissed of Sprite.  

She was so angry that she was biting her lower lip almost to the point of bleeding to keep from screaming at this thing that dared hurt Tokara.  Her wings were twitching so much she was almost in flight without trying to be, and her glare could make a man's... personal treasure... shrivel up in fear.  Looking at the Horse Killer she released her Wind Sickles with all her might, willing them to do more damage than they normally did... she could wish at least.  

She spared a glance back at her brother, he was walking and ready to fight more but in obvious pain.  She wished that she could heal him but it looked like more than basic first aid could do.  Remy didn't look too much hurt for his ordeal with getting hit with a flying man, but she couldn't tell if he was damaged worse than she could see.  

The creature had looked so wounded and close to death before, but she wasn't going to take that for granted yet.  She charges another Wind Sickles... still worried the creature would rebound her Damaging Needles, she'd have to stick with her main magical attack for now.

the wind attach would hit as the beast let out a dying  roar and its head just dropped.  The jaw was ajar from it dieing on the spot. The frostbite damage had finished the job, the smoke from Remy’s card would drift away to clear the area. The horse of tokara was frozen solid, the horse killer laid there dead on the ground. the lower body of the horse killer was frozen from frost bite that crept up its body. The beast was dead nothing was left not even a last ditch attack.   the lifeless body now in full view not attacking one could see this male had lived though many fights.  Unfortunate this fight was its last.

Remy watches as the horse killer dies and then says without any particular emotion, "Tres bien mon ami". Gets up and picks up his dropped card putting it away before heading over to where his kunai was that he had thrown earlier. After Remy's initial surprise at Tokara's sword's effect and how it affected the Horse killer Remy hadn't shown much emotion at all almost seeming battle weary. He then picks up his kunai and puts it away. He really wants to leave but he decides to stay there to help the two of them If they needed it. He then stretches a little, it didn't appear as though he had broken anything.

The monster dies before tokara could get to it. this pissed him off as he closed in the gap more. “You damned beast.” He would kick it and look towards medefera. He then looked at falabella. “falabella take your horse and ride to the stables in town.. And get 4 draft horses an some harnesses to go with them we going to drag this beasts carcass in to town.  Its sells for a nice peny. Quickly now I don’t want be stuck out here with this dead body all night.” He would sit down to hold his rib cage and lean against the beast. He was looking at Remy with rather pondering look. he knew that was not a normal magic trick he did in battle.

Finally it was dead and Falabella could breathe a sigh of relief.  It hadn't been a terrible fight, but the thought of it going on much longer could have ended up badly, especially for Tokara.  She watched him favor one side more than the other and clutch his ribs in pain.  "Tokara!  How bad is it? Are you o-"  His request/order of her to go get horses broke through her questions.  Intrigued by how much money they really could get for it considering how much they'd gotten for the Kye-Ryong, she didn't fight him on the idea of dragging it back to town... it was close enough anyways.  He was right and they shouldn't stay out here any longer than needed, especially with him hurt.  She debated asking him to take her pony and go in her stead but her pony wouldn't be able to carry him.  

"...Ok," she agrees to go on but now a new worry rises in her mind.  She looks at the strange man who had helped them and for the moment he didn't seem like he would attack, but you could never tell, and if she left Tokara in his state...  Falabella forced herself to stop her panic... *Tokara's strong even if he's wounded and tired...*  Telling herself this barely managed to work, but it was better than nothing.  

Falabella got off her horse and collected her 4 damaging needles: 1 had broken on her armor, causing equal damage to one of her spares, and 3 had hit Tokara... 1 broken after cracking through his armor, the other 2 had hit but were pulled out when he'd taken off his chest armor.  With 3 broken needles and 2 with her brother's blood on them, she felt a mixture of fury and sick.  She had inadvertently caused him pain, and it wasn't a thought she liked.

Pushing aside her anger at herself, she gets back on her pony and to her other worry, she rides it slowly in the direction of the stranger.  She whispers down to him with an angelic smile on her face, "If you attack him while I'm gone, I will hunt you down like a Hell Hound, without rest, until I find you.  It'll be interesting seeing your true character, stranger."  She kicks her horse into a run, heading for the city gates.  Her pony was happy to get away from a Horse Killer even a dead one, and she was glancing back at the two men as she told herself that the faster she was gone the faster she could be back.

Remy listened to what Tokara said to Falabella. He then hears what Falabella says and listens to her threat. He really wanted to give her the finger right now as he was not in any mood for threat as irrelevant as they may be. Remy controls himself though. The true character comment came across as amusing to him and as she left he made a quiet comment that he wasn't sure if anyone else would have been able to hear not that he cared if they could.

"It takes more than a couple of hours to truly judge one's character chère." Remy debated leaving but then he remembered why he really shouldn't. He looks at Tokara. "You alright? That was quite the hit you took."

Watching falabella leave he saw her go close to the stranger and figured she would say something to him. tokara took a breath feeling the savage pain of a broken rib. Tokara started to trip his shirt off. He then would process when fala was ridding off to tear it up the shirt. He then heard the stranger talk to him about his wound. Tokara would proceed to wrap the ripped shirt around him. this whole time he was grunting. “it’s a broken rib… nothing I haven had before.” He said as his torso showed his scars. Sitting up he put the shirt be hide him and tighten it up on his rib cage. “ahh shit this never seems to hurt less.” He said as he tighted up another strap around the same rib area.


He began to stand up in pain his sword being his walking stick of sorts. He stood up strait and looked around. “I get a bad feeling out here… I hope that card trick of yours is still handy.” Torkara was wielding his two hander with is right hand. he was getting ready if there was another fight.

Suddenly there is a rustling sound coming from a bush in front of Tokara. A low growl can be heard. It would be hard to tell what it was but it didn't sound very threatening or big for the matter. Almost playful.

Tokara heard the growl from the bushes and he raised his sword with one hand and slowly walked over to them. he wondered if it was a baby horse killer. But whatever it was he wanted to see its face before he strapped his ribs where killing him as he lifted the sword with his poorly made shirt splint. “get ready it might be rather vicious.” He was pondering if the ting would be harmful.

Remy seems unconcerned by the noise as he leans against a tree. He then pulls out a card and starts charging it. It was obvious from his demeanor that he was taking the wait and see approach. Sure it might be dangerous but why let it come to you and keep your distance until it showed itself, whatever it was. Then again it didn't really sound all that threatening. Remy was really curious as to What it was.
