Scounting the Seawatch (Travel topic to and fro)

Sidney rides on the rented horse following the coastline heading to the Great SeaWatch Kahnia. The terrain is pretty treacherous in spots which made Sidney extremely thankful that he had shelled out the 5k for a rented horse. Granted the cost was a little ridiculous in his opinion when you could buy one for yourself for not much a higher price. As Sidney continues he can make out the SeaWatch in the distance. It looked as though there was land access all the way around it which lead Sidney to think that maybe it would be better to just ride around it quickly instead of snooping. Sure they would know he was there but they still may not do anything about it.

Sidney felt lucky that he hadn't been attacked while scouting the SeaWatch but he knew he wasn't in the clear yet as he still had to get back to the town. As far as he knew the bandits could have pursued him though he had intentionally left their view heading as if he was going to Ventus and then immediately turned back towards Wyvernwynne. He was to the point where he could see the smoke coming up from the ruined section of Wyvernwynne.

((Horse users run into 1 event per travel minimum so that is what this post is for.

Also as I was noted by Forty we are going to implement that there is a +2 to encounter rolls when riding a horse which I was not aware of. However that means that at Kahnia you would have had an event. Luckily for you thought that event would have been a good event roll so you don't need to delete the posts back to that one.

On the same note, this event was a 3 which is a good event it was then a 5 on the next roll which was a skill event and then a 15 which lead to this.))

As Sidney rides he sees a male elf jumping stone to stone in a small stream near Wyvernwynne. The elf waves at Sidney as though he wants Sidney to go over to him. Perhaps the elf has some advice of some kind to give to Sidney.

(Short post as it is a half assed response to a good event on the way to town when I was already to the town or there abouts.)

Sidney sees the elf and waves back but he keeps on riding towards Wyvernwynne. He has his mind on the mission and is close to completing it. Sidney rides to the gates of the town and through them heading towards the stables in town to return the horse he had rented from them.
