the old man walked in to the middle of the town and waited for saori. He pulled out a pouch of gold as he waited for her, this was quite the journey for the new assassin. First a monster in front of the inn then two harpys he wondered how unlucky was this elf, not knowing anything about her past he would hope she was lucky enough to finish any quests. He smiled as he just stood there.

Saori wandered into the town, meandering up to the old man, her ribs giving her extraordinarily painful surges throughout her torso and back. "Agh.." She'd groan in agony, though striving to carry on. Saori could take a beating, and a mean one at that, but everyone has their limits. Saori, fortunately for her, has yet to meet her limitation.

She'd look at the old man, a pouch supposedly filled with four-thousand gold coins jingled in his hand as he waited for her to catch up. He had led her through a pass that she actually had no idea was there, nor was it even marked on the map. If it were, it would have made this journey a lot less stressful.. And painful. She'd look at the pouch, and back at him. "So this is it, huh? Blood Bay.." She'd look around, then glanced at the pouch once more. ".. That for me?" She'd ask, curious to see if that was the reward money he had promised.

If so, she'd have taken it. She needed to see a doctor or a healing specialist right away.

The old man would toss her the pouch of 4000 gold. “yep it’s all there the healer should be in a building somewhere around here, Don’t know where he is. they are always drunk though, also here is a map of the secret pass to this place.” He would hand it to her, the map showed of a secret quick route to this place that avoided all monsters and came out only a few miles away from mendefera. This would be the easiest way to and from this place as the sea route would seem almost impossible. After handing her the map the old man walked away and went in to a house leaving her to her own devices.

Saori would wander around the town for almost a half an hour before coming into a small building with a series of boarded windows, though the inside looked more like a shagpad with cloth carpeting from wall to wall. A woman sat in a chair in the far end of the room, Saori noticing a small cross in the back of her, hanging on the wall. Finally a medic.

"Excuse me, ma'am.. I'm in desperate need of a healing specialist.. You wouldn't happen to be one, would you?" She would present the healer with three-thousand gold coins and place it on the table in front of her, hoping she'd take that as payment. It'd suck to have to pay her all the gold she had available. She needed it to reequip her gear and buy some new weaponry.

the healer would look at her and not notice any blood. “Broken bones? That’s 4000 gold for broken bones. Much harder magic to do, and this is the going rate around here.” The women would look at her with a look of I seen it all look. “everyone needs to eat and being a medic around here I can set my own prices.” She was money hungry but who could blame her in a town of cut throats.

Saori would grunt, taking the whole pouch of gold coins and tossing it on the table. "Thats 4,000. Now, please.. Help." She'd lay down, waiting for the healer to get to work. She hoped that this would cure her broken bones. She couldn't do much with a single broken rib, let alone two, and she needed to pursue her career as a professional assassin or mercenary. That son of a bitch Athras needed to die. And not by old age! Resting, she eventually drifted off into a light sleep, awaiting the healing specialist to be finished.

the healer would stand up and walk over to saori and take the coin from her and then slapped her where her ribs would be broken. “little pain you will feel as your bones will reconnect. “ she said that and her hands would glow brightly as she then grabbed saoris bones somehow though magic her hands passed thigh though her. the healing of bones was a whole different process then healing wounds or health. Boones where tricky and had a set state, unlike flesh that could be moved and molded. Saori would feel pain like she never felt before.

Saori would feel excruciating pain before she had passed out from the extremity of the surging pulse. She let out a feint yelp before the darkness she was once a part of consumed her eyesight, Saori fading out of reality.

She awoke hours later, laying in a stuffed padding of bedding straw, sitting up, she actually was surprised to feel virtually no pain at all, and free movement was easy to utilize now that her ribs had been restructured. "Thank you.." She wanted to call her a bitch after she smacked the fuck out of her ribcage, but it wasn't appropriate.

Standing up, she wandered out of the building, the harpy wing would soon be utilized in a manner of unique compression. Searching for a Leatherwork Shop, she found one and looked around inside. She hadn't noticed anyone in the building, but she awaited the arrival of someone who may be a leatherworker.

The leather worker would drop down from the sealing his face painted multiple of coolers almost looking like wood. “I could have skinned you alive in 30 seconds flat elf.” The man had a gritty voice but his looks he was also an expert hunter. The hides on his wall and head mounted on planks. The man moved around sortof hunched over and sniffed the air. “I smell harpies.” He looked around for harpies and then jumped up in to the rafters of the shop this man was nimble and fast.

Saori would almost be startled by the surprising entry proposed by the leatherworker. He seemed to blend in with his surroundings extremely well. This meant he was either a very skilled hunter, or an assassin with no natural talent for the dark magic arts. Either way, he was certainly a bad ass. As he noted he smelled Harpy blood, she would pull the severed wing from her back and toss it into a nearby table.

She'd laugh, blowing his uncertain response to the scent off. "Yeah.. I killed two of them on my way here." She'd scan the ceiling, locating his position. "I need you to craft me some armor made of these feathers.. And if at all possible, create an entire set once I have the necessary funds to give you." She needed the armor for a few reasons. Among them was to get remotely close to finding the other three Harpy wings to complete the set considering they flew off of the mountain after the battle.

She'd smirk. "Although I only have one-thousand gold on me at the moment.. I was hoping you would take that as a good gesture and take another five-hundred once I receive it from a mission." Curiosity struck her mind, just as it may have struck his. Gold was something both common, yet uncommon. Especially from distant areas like Blood Bay.

The man would fall backwards but used his feet to stay up in the rafters he looked a little like a bat hanging down. “Let me guess you’re here to join the guild. An I don’t make armor for you unless you have proven yourself to the guild.” The name took a more a regal tone with her ad he had his arms crossed and he fiddles with two finger, looking at them as if they were dirty. “Once you have proven yourself to the guild then we can talk, But until then bye bye.” He would smile as he disappeared back in to the rafters.

Saori would have understood perfectly as to why he refused to craft for her. After all, she had no reputable information that may have spread around this town, unlike Fayshade. Regardless, she would nod to him, take the wing, and curtsy, walking out of the shop in order to find the man or woman she'd have to speak to in order to obtain her first Assassin's Guild mission.

She scanned the town of Blood Bay.. Though it was a place legendary for mercenaries and powerful assassins, the civilian populace seemed to be nevertheless festered in disease and insects. It was a horrible sight to see. But in a town of cutthroats, this was to be expected at any rate. Broken crates lay everywhere within the town. Saori half expected to find a dagger or something similar to use to replace the weapon she had lost in the fight against the Harpy onslaught. She located a small, unlocked, footlocker, and hoped to the Death God there was something inside of it she could use.

After taking or leaving whatever the hell she happened to find or not find within the dented footlocker, wandering pursued. After about twenty minutes or so, Saori had finally come across a small chapel-like building, the cross however had been removed and covered by a tapestry baring the symbol of a cloak and dagger. She assumed this meant the Assassin's Guild had been present within its confines. She meandered inside, pushing against the large ironclad door with a rebellious lunge. Dust settled as she walked within, the scent of both the dead and rust filled her nostrils. Ghastly enough, she saw a man standing at a podium in the center, the rows of seats empty, however.

Approaching him with caution, she sensed he was probably a leader of the Assassin's Guild. He could probably slit her throat quicker than she could yelp. Calling out in a whispering filter, she spoke code so as to intrigue the leader and spark his curiosity. Such words only a man or woman of intelligible stature could understand words so coveted. "The shadow of the moon yet casts a light, entering a town of blood and water. Yet the light still wishes to be engulfed by the darkness of a cloak and dagger and don the title of a nightingale." She was sure he understood the simple pattern of talk. 'I want to join the Assassin's Guild.' Her reference of a cloak and dagger being symbolized by the guilds cutthroat emblem.

The man would be cloaked with a hood and looked at the elf who had just walked in. this made him look up at her then hearing her say that phrase made a smile appear from under his hood. The man would walk down from the podium, walking close to this elf his smile would be more clear. “so do you think you have the right stuff to join us do you?” with him saying that 10 people just appeared of of nowhere, all where assassins but all where dressed the same.

The frames of them showed there was a few females among the ranks of them, they all looked like priests of any town. This may have been how they slip in to so many towns without any attention brought to them, the crafty lot all of them. the man would wait for her response.

Saori would smirk, scanning among the lot of assassins. "I believe I have the heart to join your ranks, yes." The real question was if she was really ready to join the Guild. She can believe it all she'd like. "Give me the chance and I will not fail you." She'd bow her head, though keeping her focus on the surrounding assassins.

the man mumbled something to one of the assassins to his left and looks back as saori. He and the person seem to talk for what seems like ages, they were trying to figure out what to give saori for a quest. Then he walks up to saori and pulls out a strange looking crystal the makes a image of some old looking frail man. “here is your test, kill this old man who witnessed a assassination done by one of the fellow members. Do this and we will agree to let you join. But thing is if your spotted doing this your chances of joining are gone. We will also put a price on your head if you fail this. Failure is not an option.” The man held the viewing crystal out to saori.

“the old man can be found to the south in ironhurst. Find him kill him and make sure not to be caught. This is your mission” the assassins would part from be hide saori so she could leave.

She would quickly nod, accepting the mission. She understood failure was absolutely not an option, and even the slightest mishap could result in her having a bounty on her head, promoted by the Guild she was now so desperate on joining. Quickly turning, she bowed, and dashed from the chapel, heading back toward Mendefara. She had heard of Ironhurst before, though she never personally visited the area in the past.

Taking out her map, the same given to her by the old man who escorted her here, she scanned over the atlas area in an attempt to find the hidden path which quite literally cut the majority of the travel time toward the city of Mendefara by over seventy-five percent. This would also probably cut out much of the impending dangers she may have faced trying to walk all the way back to the city utilizing the same route that she had taken prior to her arrival to Blood Bay. Running, she remained scanning her surroundings, now clearing the border of the assassin town.

She continued onward toward Mendefara. It had been about nine hours since she left the rotted town of Blood Bay, and dusk had already set in about two hours ago. Now, darkness took control over the world she walked upon. With no time to stop, she had to get to Mendefara as fast and hastely as possible. With that, she never stopped running.

About three hours later, she had finally reached the vast city of Mendefara, finding her way in through the dirt trails and rotted dust. Diving over a bush, she rolled, and stood in the center of the marketing district. Looking toward a Leatherworking shop, her first ordeal was to get some better equipment. These shoddy leather chaps wouldn't protect shit.
