Enchanting Leveling Guide
Enchanting in General
- Enchanting is for the purpose of being able to ‘Cast’ spells that are not of your Elemental Type and casting spells that you have no training or knowledge of.
- You still must use the Mana/Stamina requirements (see exceptions), but someone with Dark Magic can use a Light spell through having something that is enchanted.
Type of Enchant Spell Limitations:
- Can be Attack or Defense: Gems. Accessories. Skin. Arm and Helm armor.
- Defense, Non-Battle Spells only: Chest, Leg Armor.
- Attack/Effect only: Weapons.
What can be used to Enchant on:
- Paper, written
- Skin, tattooed
- Clothing, stitched
- Wood, carved
- Metal, etching
- Gem, spelled
Paper
- How to Enchant - To enchant paper, you write on it. You must infuse the paper with double the required Mana that would take to cast the Spell, it does not need the Stamina from the Spell.
- Usage – one time use only. (see Exceptions)
- Summoning Spells must be written with blood
- How Many – One spell per piece of paper
Skin
- How to Enchant – To enchant on Skin, you tattoo it. You must infuse the skin with double the required Mana/Stamina that would take to cast the Spell.
- Usage – Permanent unless the skin is Cut or Torn (someone swings a sword at your Enchanted tattoo on your arm and cuts through it, too bad so sad. Now a scar will form in it even if healed by magic and ruin the Enchant). Unless, the Spell is a Curse, then it remains.
- How to remove – you must have a Healer literally skin you alive (just the tattooed part) and heal it as quickly as possible. There will be Bleeding… someone with First Aid can do it… but not necessarily recommended.
- How Many – Tattoos must be placed near enough to an area with Bones (no abdominal). 1 on Head/Face/Neck, 1 per Bicep, 1 per forearm, 1 per hand, 1 on back, 1 on chest, 1 in pelvic area (front and back), 1 per thigh, 1 per calf, 1 per foot. 16 Total Max
- (see Exceptions for an additional information)
Clothing
- How to Enchant – To enchant clothing, you must embroider the spell into it. You must infuse the stitchery with double the required Mana/Stamina that would take to cast the Spell.
- Usage – Permanent unless the Clothing with the Embroidery is Cut or Torn.
- How to Remove – Take out the stitching.
- How Many – Same as Skin, same areas and amount (don’t want to write it all down again)
Wood
- How to Enchant – To Enchant Wood, you must carve the spell into it. You must infuse the carving with double the required Mana/Stamina that would take to cast the Spell.
- Usage – Permanent unless the Carving is damage (you have an enchanted wooden staff and someone takes a knife and gouges out the Enchanted Carving, someone lights your staff on fire and it’s burned to a crisp, etc.)
- How to Remove – you have to destroy the Enchant… gouge it out yourself, cut it away, etc.
- How Many – each spell has to be at least 12 inches apart (so if it isn’t that big… only 1 on it, if it’s a 3 foot staff you can have 3 spells on it). Only 1 per arrow; on the shaft, not one on shaft and one on the metal head
Metal
- How to Enchant – To Enchant Metal (weapon, armor, etc.), you must create an Etching on it. You must infuse the etching with double the required Mana/Stamina that would take to cast the Spell.
- Usage – Permanent unless the Etching is destroyed (smashed to bits and pieces, broken). Damage like a dent or something will not erase the Enchant.
- How to Remove – Scratch it out completely, or reforge metal on top of the etching. If Blood was used over the etching, the only way to remove is to destroy the area of the Enchant completely, the metal from the area will have to be remelted to be usable again.
- How Many – Armor is same as Skin (still not gonna write it down again). Weapons is same as Wood (12 inches apart). Only 1 per arrow (metal arrows, or this would apply to Wood instead of Metal)
Gems
- How to Enchant – To Enchant gems, you must write on a piece of paper the spell you want and a Sealing spell and place the Gem in the center of the paper. You must infuse the gem with double the required Mana/Stamina that would take to cast the Spell
- Usage – Permanent unless destroyed (See Exceptions)
- How to Remove – Not possible unless destroyed
- How Many – 5 on chest, 3 per forearm, 3 on head, 4 per leg. 15 Gems Max
Gem Types
All gems are enchantable. A Miner finds the gems, a Leatherworker can socket them into leather and cloth, and a Blacksmith can socket them into metal and wood (armor, weapons, jewelry, etc.). Mana Burn spell placed in a gem will make all other spells null-and-void unless it is in an Onyx or stronger or your other spells are placed in another gem at least 2 armor pieces away from the gem with Mana Burn.
Sapphire
- Sells for 2000 gold.
- Can hold spells level 3 and down.
- Can put 1 spell into gem.
- Can cast spell 2 times per battle topic unless spell has a limit.
- If gem is targeted in an attack and broken, spell is lost.
Ruby
- Sells for 4000 gold.
- Can hold spells level 5 and down.

- Can hold spells level 15 and down.

- Can hold spells level 20.

- If gem targeted and broken, spell remains, effect is doubled but can only do spell 5 times.
Exceptions
- A Necronomicon is a spell book bound in flesh from one of the humanoid races (Centaur, Minotaur, Orc, Elf, Dwarf, etc.). If the pages are made from Paper, the Enchants to not disappear after one use; they are permanent unless destroyed or removed from the book. The pages can be made of different things… like metal plates… covered or not with flesh, etc.
- Some Gems even when damaged/destroyed still hold the spells but on a different amount of effect and/or a new amount of how many times you can use a Spell before it does vanish.
