Cooking Leveling Guide
Cooking - Find meat and other ingredients and cook a fine meal for you and your group without needing to pay for your meal in a pub or inn. There are also battle benefits if you’re able to cook a good edible meal. Eating food gives your stamina before, during, or after a battle; the higher the level, the more of a buff to your stamina. This guide to the basic idea of recipes you can cook. (If you choose cooking it’s more meant to have fun and creative dishes but nothing to fancy, you are making these on the side of the road... oh look road kill prefect.)
When the Chef hits level 50 in Cooking, you get a permanent 10 points to put in Stamina, Health, or Weapon/Hand to Hand. At Level 100, any ingredient is now edible (poisonous herb, rotting zombie meat, etc.) It will nullify any poisons in the ingredients.
Rules
- The Energy buff is a restoration of a set amount of lost Energy. If there is more points then you needed for Restoration (Ex. You had -5 Energy and the food gives you 15 Energy points), it is a buff of UP TO 10 points over your base Energy level, even if you were at -5 Energy and the food gives you 30 energy, you will only get 10 more than your standard Energy.
- You need to ingest a Full plate of the chosen food to get the buff
- Maximum of 2 Full plates per person per rest.
Level 15
You’re able to cook meat but you unfortunately burn it in some places and it’s raw in others. It has little flavor and at least lets you sleep with a full stomach. Your food sucks so much it gives off a poison of 1 point for 2 posts.
Gives the eater 10 Energy (2 Stamina)
Level 20
Your meat skills are better, you can cook it properly and it no longer gives a minor poison. You can also cook rice; it is a more filling meal but nothing really special.
Gives the eater 15 Energy (3 Stamina)
Level 25
You can cook a variety of vegetables, adding new, poorly cooked flavors to your meals… but mushrooms are a mystery to you, you can’t tell what is poisonous or not. Bad mushrooms give a poison of 2 points for 2 posts.
Gives the eater 20 Energy (4 Stamina)
Level 30
Your knowledge of mushrooms has increased, you know which ones to use and which ones are poisonous. You can cook vegetables very well, and they taste great. The magic of mother nature is infused with your vegetable/mushroom ingredients, giving you an added boost of 5 Magic (10 Mana) and an additional 2 Magic (10 Mana) to Earth users.
Gives the eater 25 Energy (5 Stamina)
Level 35
Breads are now known to you. You cook them properly, but they are nothing special and slightly tasteless. Your breads give you back 15 lost health points.
Gives the eater 30 Energy (6 Stamina)
Level 40
You start cooking stews, combining your meats and vegetables. But not knowing the proper timing, they are not tasty and it causes a poison effect of 3 points for 2 posts. Having branched out and combining different ingredients, you can now also create pies, both meat and fruit… too bad the crust is burnt and the filling is runny.
Gives the eater 35 Energy (7 Stamina)
Level 45
Your timing is getting better and you no longer leave any ingredient uncooked in your stews. It is now filling and delicious. So hearty and healthy, your stews and pies give you back 20 health points. You keep the boost of properly cooked vegetables – (added boost of 5 Magic (10 Mana) and an additional 2 Magic (10 Mana) to Earth users.)
The pies have increased in taste and texture also. They are so good you almost don’t want to stop eating them… stop or you’ll get fat! Your pies give you back 25 lost health points.
Gives the eater 40 Energy (8 Stamina)
Level 50

Gives the eater 55 Energy (11 Stamina)
Level 75

A master patisserie, your desserts are delicious. You are able to create artwork with creations of spun sugar and caramels.
