Accepting A Quest (Kai, Robbie, Lena)

Lena creaked the barracks door open. The very sight of the building made a frown appear on her face as she remember her past experience here. She stepped inside and looked about. She walked over to the nearest guard and gave him a soft poke on the shoulder "Excuse me, can you help us? We are here to pick up an official letter." She stated, giving him the best looking fake smile she could.

Kai followed Lena in the building, and looked around. He saw the standard busstle of the buys guards, but didn't see the Captain he recognized, *no surprise, he's probably avoiding his duties somewhere*. People didn't seem as shocked to see him, but more surprised to see him Again. *Guess i'm becoming a regular here* he thinks with an internal laugh.

He rereads the flyer. He doesn't know who Mr. Von Ronsenberg was, but he was the patron of this quest. *He must have given this quest to the guards who put it out on the board since they are so busy*. It didn't really matter to Kai who started the quest, as long as they could do it.

Robbie follows them into the barracks, not really having expected to have seen the captain in the barracks when they had entered. He figured he was out back eating or something. He also knew now, that there was a reason the fat man was a Captain after having been knocked out by him. He looks around and sure enough that Captain was nowhere to be seen. The Guards all looked extremely busy and frazzled. It seemed like they were working to cover up for someone else.

When lena’s words was spoken and most of the group was in the barracks, a large object started to in to the room from a office of some kind. The shape would soon make out a very large ogre, blorg had a letter in his hands. “who said they are here to deliver the letter?” the ogre looked around for a moment. He stood around 11 feet tall easy. Kai thought he had problems moving around the barracks this ogre had em worse. He would then have his eyes come to a small group of three he had never seen before. They must have been the ones to take the letter.

Lena rolled her eyes. How could Blorg even miss them to begin with? As if Kai wasn't noticable enough. She walked up to the huge monstrosity, hands akimbo to her hips. "That would be us, ogre." she replied to him with a scowl on her face. Her plan was to get in and get out as quickly as possible. Lena stuck her right hand out and gestured Blorg to place the letter in her hand.

*Lena... ugh...* She was losing her patience and it was showing. Hopefully they could get out of here without anything happening, with the quest in hand. He softly touches Lena on the arm, drawing her attention. He lightly smiles at her. *Things usually go smoother and faster if you do not start a fight* "We will be on our way soon enough."

He bows slightly to the Captain. "Yes Sir, we are here to begin the quest of Delivering an Official Letter," Kai says to him, showing him the flyer from the Quest Board.

Robbie stays quiet. Even he would not have insulted the ogre like Lena had, wittingly or not. Robbie does not remember having seen an ogre before and is struck by his size. He is quite a bit taller than Kai which is saying something. He then looks around. "What did? Fatass hire you to do his job for him? He is truly a skilled combatant, but his leadership skills seem to be quite lacking." says Robbie honestly.

The ogre looked at Lena with a scowl on his own face. “Don’t make me squish you.” He walked past her his body mass making the very ground shake. He looked kai up and down then he heard the othe human talk. “Captain fatass, Oh he got called away to do a mission. He maybe a fatass but he’s also one of the most skilled with both a blade and his hands. Now this letter you will be delivering is sealed with a magic that can tell who’s opening it.” He handed the letter to kai it look like just an ordinary post letter. The ogre would look at the two humans with the minotaur, quite the odd bunch to be delivering a letter.

Lena simply gave her friend a nod and let out a deep sigh, almost as if letting out her impatience "Squishing me wouldn't be so hard considering your huge, huge, huge size..." she said very softly under her breath, holding back for Kai's sake, tapping her foot as she waited for Blorg to finish speaking. Lena crossed her arms under her chest. She paced around a little "Anything else we should know from you? Or should we adress any questions to the Patron?" she asked, wondering what the fastest route to Rampart was and about World Diplomat's actual name.

Seeing Lena calm down, Kai was pleased. She may be quick to temper but she seemed quick to cool off too. At least she hadn't snapped at the Captain's comment about squishing her.

After listening to Robbie and the Captian talk he realized something, Robbie said whatever he wanted to whenever he wanted to, often enough not meaning har... that doesn't mean no one takes offense. That was probably what had happened with the first Captain.

Kai accepts the letter from the Captain, it didn't look like much, but it must be important. He had been curious about the details of their quest also, and was glad Lena had asked.

Robbie was curious as well about what the exact details were, but figured that where the Captain was just a middle man, he may not know much about the whole situation. The more he thinks about it, the harder of a job he figures being a Captain would be. He was growing to respect the Guards a bit more than he already had. He also however was itching to get out of town, he never did like living in bustling areas and the open road suited him more.

Blorgs scratched his head now knowing they didn’t know where they was going. ”It didn’t say where you’re taking the letter. Well then you’re taking the letter to the king of rampart. You head north east from here when you go out the city gates. You may want to travel fast there are many who would like to read that letter.” He started to walk past them and went outside the barracks. He pointed due north past a few mountains. “The fortress of rampart is that way when you get there say you have a letter for the king they know we send civilians to carry the letter as guards get attacked more often. They will also give you the reward for the letter.” with that he was waiting for them to leave, what detail e gave them was all he could give.

Lena nodded at Blorg and followed him outside. Seems to be that not all Captains were as bad at what they do as Robins. She looks towards the direction the group was pointed to "Very insightful; many thanks." she replied, managing to crack a very, very slight smile.
With the new knowledge they recieved regarding the quest, Lena began heading north towards Rampart.

Kai couldn't help but think about the risk that came with this letter now that he knew who the delivery was to. A message to a King will be sought after, hopefully noone will suspect what they carry. He listens to the Captain describe the destination and direction, now at least they know where to head. Thanking the Captain, he bows slightly and follows Lena out of the Barracks. They had better travel fast, this letter would worry him until he handed it in.

Robbie bows out of respect to Captain Blorg and then leaves with Lena and Kai. He is curious to see what the king of rampart looks like. He then wonders how big of a city rampart is. As they all leave his mind is racing with thoughts of what the next location will be like.
