acquiring new weapon

  

enz continued to sharpen the sword occasionally lifting it from the sharpener as to protect the temper... letting it cool before putting it back to the grinder... this was faster, but a hand honing stone was safer on the metal... slowly and carefully enz honed the edge so that at some point after she is done sharpening it... it would be like a razor blade, super sharp and deadly... already it was stronger than her sword staff... well for single blows as her staff can easily do double blows...

enz takes her sword and looks at the handle guard... she then decides to spice it up a bit and make it look cooler... rightn ow it was a typical T guard... she decided to make it a gladiators V guard with engravings etched into it... working the new guard till it was of proper shape she took an chissle and began to engrave gladiatorial designed into it, something to make a gladiator proud... soon after finishing it she looked over her sword with a smile... it was a fine weapon so far... what can she do now...

  

its just that... she wont turn down such an opportunity... she had to take it... at least she gave the hatchling a proper burial... and it may take her a long time to grow up to be an adult... it was something she was willing to go through... to go through puberty once again...

resting the blade letting it cool and checking the edge... she put it back the she sharpener for a bit before taking it off and calling it good...

enz then brought it to the sharpener and began to sharpen the edge, the sound of the sharpener making stone against metal sound constantly as it spun sharpening the blade yet more... this weapon she can improve quite a lot without worry of weakening its durability too much... so she can make this weapon the perfect iron sword... gladiators would just love to have... no serrations on this weapon though, just a sharp... pointy fine sword she can have...

enz then looked over the blade running her finger across the edge, it was sharp... but she can make it better... putting it back to the sharpener, she continued to hone the edge of the blade, she intended for this sword to be her best work yet... enz watched as she sharpened the blade,,, she will make sure this weapon puts a samurai's sword edge to shame... maybe... maybe not... but still she wanted it to be impressively sharp...

while sharpening enz hummed along occasionally letting the metal cool before continuing... her tail slowly swaying back and for a few inches the tip of her tail moving more than the rest... her keen reptile eyes keeping a close watch on the sword as she honed it... she was now thinking back to the days she got her dragon hatchling form... sad on how she had to get it... but... it was a chance she refused to turn down...

Entering the blacksmiths once again, she greeted the blacksmith before asking him to use his forge. with the go she went over to the forge and melted down her sword staff receiving 22 iron ingots...

enz then took 10 iron ingots and re-forged her dual sword-staff... with her better skill in smithing iron this one will be better than last time, she figured out that doing things a certain way will make the weapon far better than before...

Enz too the dual sword staff and brought it over to the honing wheel and began to sharpen the edge of her dual sword staff after this she may work on the serrations of the sword...

carefully honing the blade to a fine edge, she will make sure no damn bandit could break this sword on her. get a couple hematite to make a dagger and work on smithing a bit so she can work on steel smithing which is so much better than iron...

taking a file enz began to create more serrations in her blade... a couple more of these and it would be able to rend hostiles of their limbs, the more damage it can do to an enemy while she stays back and recovers a bit herself... the better... this also lightened the sword by one pound... it being lighter... well it would cost less stamina and make it easier to swing... but smelting it... she wont receive as much iron in turn... but oh well... she might just sell the thing when she no longer needs it.

enz took her sword back to the grinder, tilting her head slightly as she carefully watched the blade as she sharpened it making sure it was perfect, her ears flat against her head as it was hot in here with the forge and smelter and all... how dwarfs can handle it was beyond her... her tail swaying left and right... looked over the blade before sharpening the other side as well to make sure it was thoroughly honed.

Enz looking over her blade smiling a bit before putting it back to the honing wheel to sharpen it even more... putting as much damage on her weapons as possible... sharpening the edge yet more enz continued to spin the wheel with the foot pump as she began to hum a little lalluby... one of adventure and great fame... something she dreamed of as a child, something she was so close to now... she had her Dragon hatchling form... the only thing she needed now was legendary stuff to mob around with.

Enz began to work the handle of the sword, making it fit better in her hand so that it will hit with greater force... and do more damage... making it so that it can role in her paws easily so she can switch between serrated edge and slashing edge and spin it easily in her hand... the handle being two feet long... it had a lot of area to hold... and a lot of area to work on... upon finishing that enz held it in her hands to make sure it fit properly.

enz took 6 of her iron and began to forge it into her weapon, to make sure it would had plenty of durability, forging it into her sword making sure it kept its form, so she can still use it... though this increased the effort needed to swing, after reinforcing her weapon, she took the sword in hand and then strapped it to her back... this was good for now.

enz toss's in her iron Long Gladius melting it down... she did not need the sword... she couldn't even use it any who not that she wanted to... after melting it down she pulled out 12 iron ingots from the smelter... which she planned on using to make the rest of her armor, some boots, gloves and something to protect her tail, she liked her tail... not only that reptilians needed it and if it were cut of she may bleed to death...

enz began to forge herself a tail sleeve for herself, using five iron ingots she went right to work on the scale mail tail sleeve... making the scale pieces and eventually the chain male, upon finish those she began to attack the scale pierces to the chain male... making herself scale male... upon finishing the armor peirce and slipped it right on and firmly attacked it to her chaps... it provided for more weight... but it would protect her tail now...

enz took two more iron and began to forge herself some clawed plate scale gauntlets to protect her hands... the more protection the better... forging the iron to the gauntlets putting the prices together it was tedious and a lot like a puzzle but she managed to build the gauntlet.. upon finishing that she put them on flexing her fingers about happy that it provided no loss of her grip, but bending her hand back will be blocked passed 45 degrees... which is good... cus after that angle it hurts her wrist and hand...

Enz then finally decided to make her some reptilian scale plate boots, which wil be more difficult as it needed more moving parts and provide mor flexibility and not hinder her... so she will make sure the boot can practically fold on its self entirely...

forging the pieces of the boots an ingot per boot... she then worked on putting the pieces together like a jigsaw puzzle... after some time of connecting the pieces together she slipped on the boots her talons in the hollow metal talons of the boot, to protect them and as well do more damage to foes if she kicks them.

  

Enz walks into the blacksmith closing the door behind her, walking over to the counter and purchasing 10 hematite ingots for 500 gold, she tossed her iron weapon into the smelter to get the iron out of it

with that enz walked over to the forge and began to smith herself her dual Sword-staff... but in hematite now... it was stronger and more durable and would dish out more damage than her iron could ever... upon finishing the sword enz went to the smelter and retrieved the 16 iron ingots...

Enz takes the hematite sword to the honing wheal, putting the edge to the stone she began to slowly sharpen her sword, watching the near black blade as she sharpened the sword to a fine sharp edge... her tail rested by her foot tongue flicking in the air as she slowly honed the edge to a fine sharpness to cut away at her foes... her hematite sharpened so much better then the iron... she couldn't wait till she got steel.

Enz takes her sword to a chair and with a file she began to improve the serrations of her sword so that they would do more damage via bleeding... it would do some gnarly damage to the flesh, and it would not clot so easily, making t possible for her foe to bleed out if they escape or she runs away... with more serrations upon her sword she blows away the dust and looks at the weapon to make sure she did not miss anything

Enz took the sword to the workbench and began to refit the handle so that it fit better in her hands, to let her swing heavier blows at her foes, polishing the handle after that, enz lifted the sword up and held it in her paws, slowly swinging the sword testing her handy work before working on it a bit more so that it fit better... after some time she tested it out again and smiled as it was now just right...

looking at her blade enz runs her finger over the edge before putting it back to the honing stone, making the edge razor sharp, enough so that she could even flay her scales... which she would never do because that would be the most excruciating thing ever...

after sharpening the blade enz lifted the sword up and ran her finger across the edge again, it felt sharp, if not for her tough reptilian finger... it would have cut her like a normal human would have been cut...

smiling at the sharpness... Enz decided to hone it even further... so that it would cut her reptilian scales... her ears perked forward her tail under the chair next to her feet the tip swaying back and forth with eagerness as she sharpened her blade even further to perfection... already her weapon was sharp and strong... now it is just... well stronger... sharper... lifting the blade up enz ran her finger across the blade before jerking away... a little trickle of blood dripped from her finger... yea... sharp now, enz smiled at that... not that she cut herself... but the fact the blade was sharp... bandaging up her finger she thought of what one last thing she could do before heading out.

enz takes her sword and begins to put more serrations into it, so that it would cause grater damage to her foes... humming a song as she did occasionally blowing off some metal dust and looking at her work before continuing, making sure she did it properly and that there were no mistakes... this way her sword has maximum quality... after some time of making more serrations enz looks over her sword gliding her hand along the side... it was already looking like a fine weapon... with that... enz took her leave of the shop taking her things with her.

Enz walked into glaidus's shop once more, she set down her bag of iron, before pulling up a stool the the counter and began some idle chat with glaidus about smithing and such...

she had her helmet on the counter fiddling with the helmet talking to the dwarf, she was fully clad in her iron chainmail set, which with a bit training she would smelt buy or mine some coal and turn it all into coal.

when someone walked into the sho enz looked over to the person

"hello there... oh im sorry... your shop Glaidus, its your honors" she giggled bowing her head to the dwarf.
