Back to Mendefera, yet again.

The member 'Sidney Hawkins' has done the following action : Dices roll

After some time Sidney finally makes it through the section of forest that he had not liked. Pretty soon it will be time for him to set up camp but he wants to put some distance between him and that dead woods. As he continues along he is constantly searching for a good place to set up camp. He's being pickier than normal though as he is still looking for any reason not to set up camp near the dead forest.

Sidney finally finds a decent place to set up camp and checks out the surroundings. He starts to look around to make sure that this really is a good place to set up camp and that there isn't something there waiting for him to let down his guard. He is making his search throurough. He wa much more thorough here than he had been when he was in a larger group as in a larger group everyone is making sure it's safe.

Deciding that it's safe Sidney sets up camp. He then eats food that he had with him as supper. It isn't very long past that when he goes to sleep. When he wakes up in the morning he feels refreshed. He eats a small breakfast and then he makes sure he has everything from where he had set up camp. He then heads out on the trail again. He can see a clearing up in the distance.

Sidney continues along the path and comes out to a plains area. It was reminiscent of the plains around Mendefera but he knew there was one more small forest between here and there. He continues through the plains and he is keeping his eyes open for any suspicious things. It doesn't take him long to figure that what he is most looking forward to when he got to Mendefera was not having to have his head on a swivel looking out for danger around every corner.... not that Mendefera was always the safest either.

As Sidney continues through the plains he doesn't see anything out of place. As he continues along he gets across the plains section and is now entering the last section of forest between where he was and Mendefera. He is happy to be so far along but figures that it won't be too long before he has probably one more encounter. The forest lightly gets thicker the further that he goes on. As normal in Humus it is a beautiful forest.

This section of forest is really nice and Sidney enjoys walking through it. He keeps on continuing along the road and he notices how picturesque this section of the forest is, it reminded him of something that artists would paint and then sell to rich people that never got out of the city to see it for themselves. He didn't see how people could spend their entire lives cooped up in the city without seeing any of the beauty of nature.

Continuing through the forest Sidney is starting to come out of the thicker forest and is now in a very light section of the forest to the point where it would almost not be considered a forest anymore. It gets to the point where he is now in the plains again. He looks and in the far distance he can see the massive walls of Mendefera coming into view. It felt good to be so close to being homefree.

Walking across the plains with the Mendefera walls coming more into view as Sidney continues along wondering what Avril, Falabella and Tokara are doing now. Sidney is starting to get his hopes up that he might actually make it back to Mendefera without running into anything too negative. Of course that was probably just a pipe dream but the closer he got to Mendefera the better the chances were for him to actually get there without any troubles.

(It's a mediocre material. Do you want it? I only ask because you normally go blah and avoid it.)

(Sidney goes blah and avoids it.)

Sidney continues along not noticing a mediocre material on the ground as he is more focused on Mendefera as he is really close to the city. In fact this is the home stretch. Unless something happens right off he'll be back from his multiple country journey without having been too badly off for his journey. He picks up his pace as he is filled with a new energy being so close to his journey's end.

Coming out of the city were two guards leading three angry thugs out of the city. The guards mentioned something about them attacking a patron in the bar. They stop arguing with the guards as they see Sidney and immediately head towards him. When the guards see what the thugs are doing they start after them to try and stop them from attacking attacking Sidney.

Sidney rolls his eyes as the thugs come towards them. He looks past them and does a hand motion similar to hang back to the guards. Sidney looks to the thugs. Now would be a good time to back off boys. You're about to get yourself involved with something that you don't want any part of. He then pulls out the plasite cutter and activates it hoping to scare of the thugs rather than kill them.

Seeing the blade the thugs back off and walk around him in a wide path and the guards laugh and go right back to their posts.
