Searching for Herbs (Falabella & Alexi) (Travel)

Alexi sees that Falabella is about to assist her again so she pulls out a notebook and one of the spell books and takes a piece of paper from the notebook and sets it on top of the spellbook. She is backing up while scribbling an enchantment onto the paper. She then puts the books back into her backpack before stopping her retreat. She looks back towards the bandit and has to take a second to think of how this was going to work as it would have a different trajectory than her usual attacks.

The bandit that had been charging Alexi is knocked back by the Knock Back which caused him to lose any progress that he had recently made towards Alexi.

The bandit that Falabella is speaking to grabs his dagger and gets up. He points his dagger at Falabella and blood starts pouring down his hand. He yells out before opening his hand and dropping the dagger. He really had just picked up his dagger by the blade and not the handle in his haste to get up.

Falabella was torn up inside on what to do. This man was obviously such an idiot that it was surprising he'd made it past adolescence. Could she attack him still? She still had her Wind Sickles charged and ready to fire... and he didn't even have a weapon anymore.

Carefully, keeping an eye on him to watch for sudden moves, she reached into her Bottoms Backpack and pulled out a bandage. Throwing it at him, she asks, "... Are you ok? Look, just take the bandage and get out of here. You literally don't stand a chance against me with your skill level. If this spell hits you, you can die... so just run away with your friend... like your other friends and pick up a new way of life cause you're terrible at this one."

Still have Wind Sickles Charged and Ready

As the bandit resumes charging Alexi she holds up the paper that she had just enchanted and it melts into her hand and forms a ball of water that she then lobs like a softball pitch towards the bandit. The odd trajectory of the attack might make it a difficult one to gauge as far as how to dodge though it would also make it harder to aim than normal. Alexi feels that it was a pretty good lob though as it had seemed as though it was pretty accurate from the release.

The bandit looked over at Falabella insulted at her comments. He has an angry look on his face that turns to a sad face. Why are you picking on me?! he sobs as he turns and runs away from Falabella.

Meanwhile the bandit that had been charging Alexi is hit by the spell and knocked onto his butt. He then get up and runs away as well.

Standing at the ready for another attack, Falabella is stunned that he actually ran away, but given all his friends had already, it shouldn't have surprised her.  "Well that was random..." she says.  She picks up the Bandage he didn't take, the 4 Damaging Needles MM that she'd dropped and the 4 she'd originally thrown at the 2 bandits that had been fighting but ran away.  Weaving them back into her corset, she looked over at Alexi, with a 'What the hell face', shrugged her shoulders and asked "You ok?"  Then she remembered what she was doing originally: finding Herbs.  

She'd caught onto a couple scents that weren't familiar to her and went to investigate.  She was looking around to her left as she took out her Herbalism Booklet, searching for an herb in that to match anything she might find.  She found it was a very small patch of Marigolds, an herb that could stop Bleeding.  Too bad she couldn't pick it yet without ruining it's usefulness.  She studied one anyways, smelling it, remembering it's scent for the next time she found some.

Going slightly to the right from the Marigolds, she'd smelled something else on her wind during her spell that she didn't recognize.  Doing the same as she'd done before, she searched the area with her Booklet out, trying to find something written in there.  When she'd finally found it, she was almost stepping on it.  3 Ginseng plants, a poison that she couldn't pick as well, too bad.  Studying the plant, she memorizes the scent, just like she'd done with the Marigold.

"Lets hope we don't run into any bandits that actually know what their doing... those guys were so ridiculous I almost want to laugh... if they weren't trying to hurt us and steal our stuff at least."  With that said, she continues her search for more herbs, trying to get at least some out of this trip.  She starts charging her Wind Scouting - Find Herbs again. She thought she'd handled her first fight without Tokara pretty well, but it may have been due to her enemies incompetence...  Alexi had seemed steady in the fight too, she should be a pretty good companion for them.

Alexi is surprised by how everything came out. As Falabella asks if she is ok she nods to confirm that she is. As Falabella mentions about real bandits she can't help but know that she is right. Maybe they shouldn't still be out in the woods still. If something stronger came out they might not be able to deal with it. Then again Alexi hadn't even begun to use healing magic which would aid them a lot if either one of them was to get hurt by anything.

Having been relying on her eyes only, she was surprised to find a Peony bush near a large Oak tree.  She couldn't yet use this herb that could cause bleeding damage with an anti-coagulant agent, so she plucks one of the flowers, remembering it's smell and texture.  Falabella's spell had been charged for long enough, so she cast her Find Herbs spell, gathering the wind from all around, sifting through the scents brought to her.

"If you want, after this spell we can head back to town... just incase we do encounter more trouble it wouldn't hurt to have Tokara around," she said with a smile.  Tokara had a knack of attracting all the attention with his general size let alone his almost blood lust when he sees an opponent.

Congratulations! You spot a satchel on the ground. Upon further inspection you notice that this is an alchemist's satchel which contains a pestle + mortar, 3 empty vials, 2 filled vials each labelled H-20 which should mean that they heal 20 points each and five level 25 or lower herbs of your choice.

As the wind came back to her, Falabella found the scent of two herbs she hadn't encountered before but were different from the surrounding area.  Moving to her left she found a satchel on the ground, seeming to be used by an Alchemist by the stains and pollen dust on it.  Inside she found a nice little prize for herself: a mortar and pestle, 3 empty vials, 2 health potions, 2 Papaya herbs (lvl 15- good for stopping bleeding), and 3 Ginger roots (lvl 25 - good for causing bleeding or causing bleeding damage or curing poisons depending on it's mixture amounts).  "Sweet, nice find, and herbs I can use"

Locating the first scent from her spell, she flipped through her herb booklet until she found what it was.  She could barely contain herself when she learned it was a patch of 3 of a very high level herb called Lobelia, a poison.  She took her time studying it, it's root depth, the color and texture of it's leaves, and its violet and yellow flowers.  She plucked them very carefully, taking the leaves and stems... she kept the flowers on too so it'd be easy to identify when she decided to make them into a usable form.

Walking back to the right but headed back toward town slightly, she located the second scent, a single plant.  Figuring out what this one was was a little simpler since it was a lower level Herb: Belladona, it was usable as a tranquilizer and a poison depending on how it was mixed.  It was interesting how the roots were a whitish color but the stem was purplish.  It was an interesting plant and she took her time studying this one as well.  She carefully extracted the plant, root and all and put it in her pack with the Lobelia and her new pouch.

"I've had a decent run of herbs if you wanted to meet up with Tokara back in town.  I have some things at the tailors that may be done by now also," she told Alexi.  She didn't want to run into trouble again so soon but you never know... those bandits could grow some balls and come back for them... maybe.

Alexi nods. Sure, let's go back to town. She says this not really caring either way. She yawns and stretches as she was not really in an inspired mood to do much of anything at the moment. This of course was not a rarity for her as she hardly ever was overly inspired to do anything. She looks around a little warily as she was concerned that the bandits had just run off to go set an ambush or something.

Some random Dwarf comes out from the woods. EAT WITH ME! SIT AND EAT WITH ME!!! He looks drunk and smells of the stables. Half of his teeth are missing and the other half are a mixture of yellow and green while he had patches of hair missing from both his head and his beard and an overall appearance of having been singed in a forest fire. He is cross-eyed and has a chunk of his right ear missing.

Alexi looks at the man and is clearly weirded out. She mumbles to herself I knew I should have bought a rape whistle. She then looks back at him. Just leave us alone please.... Thank you. She then begins ignoring him and starts to walk towards Mendefera hoping that the dwarf will just leave them alone. She then feels her stomach growl and she looks back over at him and watches for a moment to see what he will do.
