Personality: Atlas is a little bit goofy and awkward in social situations.  In battle he is serious and he enjoys battle and pain but he is not battle crazed enough to get himself in over his head unless ordered to.  When he is alone or training he is very thoughtful.    He is not very perverted or lustful and is not concerned with relationships.  He is very just but at times his version of what is just may differ from those around him.

Motivation:  Atlas is a follower of the 4 Noble Truths and the 8 Paths but not a follower of the religion that spawned them.  He fights as a guard and hopes to help keep Humus safe for those who can not fight for themselves.  After being mugged by an entire camp of bandits and brutally beaten he now finds himself in the hospital.  He now hopes to get himself back into fighting shape.  First however he wants to go and visit his mother back in Ironhurst so that she knows he is alright.

History:

When Atlas was young he had went through the coming of age travel with his father Hercules.  A couple of years after this his younger brother Ares and his father took the journey.  Before they left Hercules told Atlas that while he was away he was going to be the man of the house and to watch after his mother.  It was presumed later that Ares and Hercules died at sea during the journey.  Atlas grew up in Ironhurst with his mother and joined the guard at a young age.  

He was especially gifted in hand to hand combat.  One time he met a beautiful woman who seduced him on a road outside of Mendefera.  While he was in a pretty vulnerable position the woman called in a group of fighters who stole everything Atlas had and beat him until he was unconscious.  Now he has been recovering in the Mendefera Medical Shelter and is just about ready to be cleared.

RP Sample:

As Atlas walks through the streets of Mendefera he feels someone reaching into his pocket.  He grabs their arm and lifts them up off from the ground to look them in the eye.  "Good job.  You've just earned a nice stay in the prison."  Atlas then takes them to the jail cell and throws them in.
