Staying in the Inn

Sidney enters the inn. He walks up to the innkeeper and checks in. Thanks to the creature that Tokara had killed with the group Sidney was in, the inn visit would be free for the one night. Sidney goes to the room designated for him and gets settled for the night. His stomach was a little sore from a lack of food but he figured that he would eat enough food for a whole group of people when he got back to Mendefera. It takes a while but Sidney slowly falls asleep.

Sidney wakes up and sits up in the bed. He rubs his eyes and then gets out of bed. He gathers his gear and then goes back to the main room of the inn. He walks up to the innkeeper. "Can I get you to take a note for me?" he asks

"Sure, but the fee is 50 gold for that." says the innkeeper.

Sid pays him the 50 gold and then tells the innkeeper. "Tell that to a man named Tokara and the two women that are here with him, Falabella and Avril. He is well over 7 feet tall so he should be hard to miss especially since Falabella is under 4 feet tall."

Sidney then goes over to the tailor and picks up the armor set he had commissioned. He goes to a changing room and puts it on. It fits great.

With that Sidney leaves the inn and heads for the stables.

Tokara walked in to the inn and talked to the innkeeper. Hearing he had a one night free stay he went to his room and plopped on the bed. He feel asleep rather fast taking in all the days experience’s in, his mind rushed with the memories of the birds attack, the bandits the sight of the dragon. His mind would race as he slept he had his sword by his side and his armor on. To him sleeping in armor was the best thing ever. There was another bed that fala could take.

Falabella walks into the Inn and locates the Innkeeper right away.  "Have you see a really tall man come in here with a giant sword frozen to his back?"  That description should get her the correct man at least, she could have gone on and on about the color of his eyes or the way his jaw line looks from the side, but most people wouldn't have noticed that stuff anyways... and if they had... Fala's wrath would be awakened, so she figured a basic description would work better.

"Why yes, he went up to the room, 3rd on the left down that corridor," they said, pointing to the left of the building.  "Being as your group was so helpful, you all get one free night, would you like a room near his?" the innkeeper asked.

"No thank you, I'll go sleep in his room with him."  At this comment, the Innkeeper blushed a little, and smiled slightly, whispering "You get'em girl!"

Fala knew what the Innkeeper was thinking, and rather stay any longer out here when she knew where Tokara was, she just let it slide.  Smiling at the Innkeeper, she says "Thank you" and walks into the room.

Tokara was indeed already asleep, she'd wasted too much time.  But he'd gotten a room with two beds, so she wouldn't have to sleep on the floor, or the foot of his bed as she sometimes did.  She was tempted to do that anyways, but he'd thought of her enough that he'd gotten this room, she should be a good girl and let him sleep peacefully by himself.  Fala took her corset off with all the needles still in it, and placed it on the bedside stand.  She still had on her Musty Mage Robe, and that would be much easier to sleep in than her Corset.  She climbed in bed and looked over at Tokara, she smiled and fell asleep almost instantly, it had been a long day again.

Tokara would wake up and looked a crossed the room seeing fala asleep in the bed. The time was about 5 am in the morning. Groaning with the pain of using so much stamina yesterday, as he rolled out of bed and got to his feet. He slowly walked over to falas beg and kicked her bed to wake her up. “Wake up time to move out. I think that’s what the others did. From here on it’s just me and you.” H would slowly stretch his arms and he gathered his gear. Getting ready to head to the smiths to pick up her and his new gear.

Falabella awoke with a start when her brother kicked her bed. She jumped up, fists up for a fight as her brain caught up with her body and she realized where she was and what was going on. "Why'd you have to be a morning person the one time we get to sleep on a real bed? Who knows when we'll reach the next town that'll offer us free lodging..." Fala grumbles as she gets out of bed and reaches for her Corset. She wakes up quickly though as she laced up the front and latched her collar around her neck.

"Ready for some breakfast?" she asks cheerfully, fully awake now and happy. It was odd to have not seen Sidney or Avril all that night or most of the evening before, but at least Tokara was staying with her. Fala walked out of the room and headed toward the eatery/pub area. At night it was busy with alcohol and music, but in the mornings it seemed to be a good place for breakfast. She found a table and sat down where she could see the front door and most of the room.

Tokara laughed at her when she woke up to him kicking the bed.  Her reaction was amusing slightly as she then suggested food she made her way to the eatery of the inn. There were a lot of people lying on the floor but clear paths to walk. “If it wasn’t for the fact we need to get going I would stay here.” he said looking around at all the people who lost their homes to the dragon. Making his way to where falabella sat, he removed his sword as he sat down placing it by him.

Upon him sitting he notices a rather old wrinkly woman came over to them. He looked at her and took 100 gold out. “Should 50 gold cover some food? Any thing you can spare.” Upon saying that the old women would leave them Tokara would look around at every one sleeping again. “I think we should head back to medefera, go there and get some supplies and get a couple of good horses.” Saying that he noticed there was a tankard on the table he wondered if he should drink it or not. He swirled it around a little and noticed it was empty.

Falabella sees him take out 100gold but asks about 50... he must still be half asleep.  "Tokara, you paid 100, not 50, here's my half," she hands him 50gold, figuring that he will eat more than her, but paying 50/50 isn't a bad thing and 100 gold for their meal should feed them decently.

Seeing him fiddle with the tankard, she had to ask, "Are you sure you should drink before we go back over the road?  What if we run into more trouble?  I know your tolerance is kinda legendary, but drinking at 5am... you're not Uncle Fester."  She chuckles a little at the thought of Uncle Fester Not drinking at any time of the day.

The old lady returned with a tray of food with two plates for them to divide it up between themselves.  Their 100 gold bought them, 10 eggs (50g), a half loaf of bread (20g), 2 sausage links (20g), 1 wedge of cheese (10g), and two glasses of water.  She sees Tokara's hand on the tankard and decides to ask, "Would you like some ale? It's 100 gold per tankard/pint."

Falabella started into the plates, grabbing 1 sausage link, 4 eggs, a chunk of the cheese and about a third of the bread.  She was practically drooling, after eating Tokara's cooking two nights ago and nothing yesterday, she was hungry.  Digging in, she barely noticed the old woman offer him ale, if he drank, he drank.  She hoped he didn't, just incase they encountered another problem on the road; he did mention leaving soon.

Tokara had just noticed he put out 100 gold he shook his head and turned the ale down. “nah I seem drunk enough.” The old women would then remember some thing running off. Tokara would follow in falas foot steps and start digging in to the meal. There was nothing left on his plate, he wiped his mouth as he then noticed the holed women had come back with a note and handed it to him.

“whats this?” he looked at it and noticed it was from Sidney. It explained about how he went and finished the quest ahead of them and left early. It stated that a guard will give you the quest rewards. “fala finish up we going to the captain quarters.” Tokara stood up and nodded to the old women he packed up his gear and headed for the door exiting the inn.

Fala was happy he decided not to drink, he really didn't need it. Eating quickly, as she was very hungry, she downed her food in a flash. The old woman had left and returned with a note. As Tokara read it, she wondered what was written but assumed Tokara would tell him later since he then stated that they were leaving. Falabella got up and nodded to the old woman, made sure she had all her stuff, and followed her brother out of the inn.
