Preparing to leave

Lilith walks into the barracks looking at all the people who was called to arms. She didn't know where she was going but apparently she was suppose to give someone this awkward looking token. "I sure hope I don't get put on the front-lines first." she said to herself before continuing to look for a person in charge of this place. Lilith wasn't much of a fighter, but if she had to she would fight. Lilith hated being in crowded places, but loved to be around people she was a difficult person to understand.

The barracks Lilith would walk in to would be bustling with people, but most of their where getting there gear and leaving. In the back there was an ogre sitting at a desk with a sign that said show tokens here. “Oh this day keeps going by, and the free gold is bringing people from all over in I wonder who the next one will be.” He said that in a tone that was un amused by the fact so many people where probably just coming for the gold and not to fight. But then again people got to eat too. He had a large turkey in front of him but his appetite wasn't there.

Lilith walks up to the desk looking at the ogre "Um excuse me I'm here to be recruited." she said handing him the token. Lilith's eyes start to glisten when she sees the turkey on the desk untouched. It has been two days since she had eaten and that turkey was calling her name. "Um excuse me sir is there a area so I can get some food?" She asked not removing her eyes from that Turkey.

Blorg looked at the human girl? No half elf more like it, seeing her pointy ears from under the red hair. He reaches over and grabs the token from her, noticing she started eyeing his turkey. He heard her questions and nodded a little. He pushed the 30 pound turkey close to her. “So you got recruited well then what’s your occupation and what kind of gear do you think you will need?” his voice was deep and his eyebrow was raised at her, kind of questioning her with his eyes.

Lilith looks at the Ogre when he push the Turkey to her " My occupation is a doctor I will need a medical bag to carry, light armor, and a short sword and shield." She said going to reach for the Turkey. "Thank you so much for the gear in advance." She said. Lilith was a well mannered person and didn't want to get the turkey because it would be rude to pick it up and eat it. "Did all these people come to help protect the people who can't?" She asked when she saw a man walk out glad he got a sack of gold. Lilith didn't like when people used something to get something for free.

Blorg looked at the elf girl as she didn’t touch the food. “you know in the ogres villages its rude to turn down food from those higher up then you.” Blorg the shifted in his chair and looked at the girl moving one hand to his chin, thinking on how she said she was a doctor. This was a rare thing to hear come in to help people. “well we only have shit for gear as it is free you can have it modified in other places in town to your need, we have no medical bags.” He got up and started to walk over to a pile of bad looking gear. He grab some leather chaps, musty mage robes, and a broken longsword. He place them on the table in front of the girl and dropped a pouch of 1000 gold in front of her. “here you go this is everything we can give you.”

"Oh I am terrible sorry to offend your culture and thank you for all you have did for me." she said taking a leg of the turkey and tying the pouch of money onto her and walking out the barracks. "Hm I guess I should head off getting a better weapon first, but where is the blacksmith? Ah there he is time to go." She said running off to the blacksmith location. Lilith was eagerer to know that she got a job as a doctor she loved helping those who couldn't help themselves and this job gave her exactly what she wanted to do.
